The passage of the collective bargaining law in Wisconsin is a vote for fairness. This new law will level the playiing field- something that is a hallmark of President Obama’s liberal agenda. It is noteworthy that this Wisconsin law will still allow the public employees to bargain collectively. However, it will limit the extravagant demands of unions so that the public sector employees will no longer be paid extra high wages in comparison to their non union counterparts. The new law will also limit the unions, thereby leveling the playing field in the area of benefits. Right now public service union members contribute zero to both their pension and the excellent health care packages. Who else gets those sweet deals? So now in an effort to share the wealth, the union members will pay about 5 % into their pension and 12 % into their medical insurance. I call that very fair and equitable. So the unions have not been stripped of their rights. Rather, in keeping with the Obama agenda they are required to play on a level playing field and to share their wealth with the people who actually pay their bills. That is the taxpayer and we are cheering the Wisconsin Governor for his vision, his integrity and for doing after he was elected what he promised to do before he was elected. He is a good and honest man and deserves to be honored. By the way, what has Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, or Michael Moore done for us. They get rich on our problems and then ask us to thank them for it. Not Me!
Under the evil collective bargaining process, Wisconsin state workers gave in to all Walker’s fiscal demands. All of them. How can you say then, that collective bargaining is bad? That’s simply illogical. Walker took money from tax-paying workers to give tax breaks to the wealthiest in his state, and actually increased the deficit.
Please, make sense of that…
