Obama Watched The Destruction of Osama!

In the news we see a photo of the President and the Vice President and the Secretary of State as they watch up close and personnel the killing of our arch-enemy Osama Bin Laden.  It must have been a horrific scene.  No sorry here for the mastermind of the Twin Towers killing of over three thousand.  Nonetheless, America is not a terrorist nation.  Surely, our President felt in his bones the violence of this event.  And I am confident that it was difficult for him to watch killing as it actually happened especially because he had personally ordered it to be done.

I am not a fan of the President and I believe that he is taking the USA to ruin by following a MAOist or perhaps a corporatist policy.  Whatever label you place on his policies, I believe they are the wrong ones.  Why?  Because they all rely upon the wisdom and the fore-site of the central USA government to make the every day personal decisions that rightly belong to the individual.

Yet, I pray for our President everyday.  I do not dislike him.  In fact I think that a lot of people misunderstand Rush Limbaugh when he says that he wants the President to fail.  Why do I think Rush is misunderstood?  Because Rush does not separate the “person” of Obama from the “person” who is President.  I am absolutely sure that Rush Limbaugh has no ill will against Barrack  Hussein Obama.  I mean it!  And if Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity or Marc Levin harbor ill will against the person known to us as Barrack Hussein Obama, then  double shame on them.    But this writer believes in his heart, that although all three named individuals vehemently opposed the policies of the President, they wish him and his family no harm.  And I am equally sure that BHO understands this and is okay with it.  (Hey, BHO is President.  He’s a big boy and he fishes with the big boys so he knows that what I say is true.  If he didn’t, he would never have gotten to where he is.)

Okay, What’s the point?

This writer wholeheartedly believes that these days are the most crucial days in the life of our President.  He can follow the ways of war and killing.  Honestly, in the Osama thing he probably had no real choice!  But in what comes NOW he has a very big choice.

President Obama can follow the path opened to him by the Nobel Peace Prize or he can follow the path opened to him by the Central Intelligence agency.

It is this writer’s hope that President Obama will follow the path opened to him by the Nobel Peace Prize.  It is the harder course, it is the more treacherous path, it has the most possibility for failure.  Nonetheless, I believe that President Obama has the “Right Stuff” and that he can make the tough decision and opt for peace.
