Obama Worries About Syria and Not USA

You know it is really bad when it becomes apparent that the President of the USA does not really care about America and is more worried about an Arab Moslem Country named Syria.  Does anybody notice the pattern.  First the newly elected President goes to Egypt in 2008 and declares the Arab Spring.  Then we have revolution against our long time friend, Mubarak.  Obama demurs but then he says, Mubarak MUST go.  We abandon our friend and weeks later we witness him in a jail and as cage.  So much for Mubarak supporting USA for decades, only to end up in a prison cage.  Then we have Libya.  The Gaddalfi people agree to accepot blae for Lockerbie in exchange support of USA to for Libya to enter once again into the International family of  friends.  This was agreed to by the USA government under GW Bush. ( Evenn if you don’t like Bush, he was our Preswident at the time and his promise was our promise) ( Hey, that is the way the big boys play and if you want to be a whiner and a cheat, well, okay, but this writer will honor our agreements because our President made legally binding agreements at the time)  ANYWAY, in comes OBAMA  and all of this goes away, and instead we attack Libya and reluctantly, Obama says, Gaddalfi Must go.  Now we have Syria.  A much more powerful and more stable country.  After extensive defense of its government against rebellion inside Syria, ( please remember that armed and organized comspiracy to overthrow the government of the USA is legally punishable by death!) and today we have Obama declaring reluctantly, That assad MUST go.  There is definitely a pattern here and I am fearfully directing your attention to the one common player, OBAMA.

Did Obama Know it was a Canadian Made Bus?

I hope that he did!  Because if he did not know it indicates that he is even more out of touch with the day-to-day affairs of his administration than we thought.  Of course, he could blame all of it on George Bush!   Maybe it was Sarah Palin’s fault?  Maybe a conspiracy of the so-called Tea Party “terrorists”?!

Leftist Liberals Hate the Values of the Tea Party Movement

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/survey-surprising-finding-tea-party-less-popular-atheists-160220531.html

The Tea Party does not exist.  That is the fallacy of the hate campaign ingenuously perpetrated by leftist political thinkers.  Granted there is a loose confederation of interest groups that share a loosely defined political philosophy of lower taxes, Less Government and strict construction of the constitution.  And these entities do ask for money and they do have employees.  However, they are not a real political party.  Rather they are even less defined that Political Action Committees (PACS) and very much less defined than organized labor unions.  Yet leftist political thinkers, like the authors of this book, insist on identifying the Tea Party Movement as analogous to the Democrat or Republican, the Socialist Workers of America, or the Libertarian parties!  Why do they do this?  I don’t know!  But I can guess.  It is because the values represented by the Tea Party Movement are rejected by the authors of this study.  Much as these same values are rejected by the Democrat party and President Obama, both of whom constantly vilify and demonize the participants of the Tea Party Movement.  The constant campaign against this citizen inspired political movement indicates that the leftist political establishment wants very much to discredit the Tea Party Movement as a fringe element of the society and thereby to discourage thinking citizens from adopting this twenty-first century political philosophy.

Christian World Domination? Don’t Be Silly!

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2011/08/14/dominionism-michele-bachmann-and-rick-perry-s-dangerous-religious-bond.html?om_rid=NsgG76&om_mid=_BOSQ7zB8ctRRHD  The writer of this very silly piece of fantasy knows nothing at all about Christianity.  I do not mean Christian thinking, I mean the reality of Christian denominationalism.  There is simply not enough cohesion for Christianity in any form to be a world dominator.  Secondly, the author assumes, ( remember the saying that assume mean to make an ass out of u and me!) that such a nefarious world domination conspiracy exits in the “secret” halls of radical right-wing Christian extremists.  Good stuff for Dan Brown novels but very far removed from the present scene of world-wide Christianity.  Christianity is a religion and it is so diverse and so divided that the idea of one universal theology able to collect enough followers for a comprehensive world domination philosophy is simply nonsense.  So, I would recommend that Ms. Goldberg get a grip, take out a few  recently published works about Christianity and get to reading.  Maybe, in that way, she will come out of her editorial office in some high-rise metropolitan building and get real with real people.

Buffet Wants You to Pay More Taxes

http://news.yahoo.com/stop-coddling-super-rich-buffett-084140678.html He may be a billionire willing to pay more taxes.  He may also want every other billionaire to pay more taxes.  But by his assumption that by taxing the SUPER Rich we can solve the trillions of dollars of deficit, he forgets to tell you one very important factor.  The tax code does not single out JUST the super rich.  It is an across the spectrum system.  Therefore, when a deduction is removed for the so called super rich, it is removed for everybody all the way down the line.  And when new taxes are imposed on the so-called super rich, they are imposed on everybody down the line.  A person like Buffet has to be living in the heady clouds of eighty year old super billionaires to imagine that the Federal government is merely going to target the super rich.  Instead, the will use the so-called super rich as a cover up to reach into the pockets of every working American in order to fund their derelict spending.  If Buffet and his ilk want to, let them send a check to the IRS as a donation to the cause.  But why does he insist that a person making three hundred thousand, (note that his taxes were almost seven BILLION) – why does he insist that a person making three or even five hundred thousand must pay up and pay more?  You know it is nice when your neighbor says that it is YOU who should pay more.  It is really easy for the other guy to point to the fellow next to him and say, “He should pay more.”  My dad, who made about two hundred fifty a week maximum, and was forced out of business at age 56 without a pension or health insurance, always was very suspicious of people like Buffet who tell the government to tax more.  He told me that the super rich indeed would only pay one of two percent more and that it would not hurt them at all, but, dad would say, the Feds will also trickle down that tax until I too am paying more and the effect will be that the super rich lose a percent but I lose fifty dollars and that fifty dollars is a lot more valuable to me than the percent is to them.  He would say, “Hey, friend, keep your hand out of my pocket.”

Kennedy-Bay of Pigs Equals Obama and Libya

http://www.thedailybeast.com/newsweek/2011/08/14/bay-of-pigs-newly-revealed-cia-documents-expose-blunders.html?om_rid=NsgG76&om_mid=_BOR9c5B8ctKtvO

This very good article shows that USA Presidents have already made the same mistake that Obama is making.  The Libya invasion is completely wrong and the extension of our involvement in Afghanistan is foolish.  The key paragraph is this one:

But it is well to revisit this disaster not to assign blame anew but to recall John Quincy Adams’s cautionary advice: America “does not go abroad in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all. She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.”

Why are we going out in search of enemies to fight?  Stop the war in Afghanistan.  Stop the war on the Libyan people.

Unelect the First Black President

http://www.newsmax.com/InsideCover/Obama-poll-York-negative/2011/08/12/id/407127?s=al&promo_code=CD47-1

Is America mature enough to un elect the first black US President?  This post will probably get me into trouble.  It shouldn’t but it probably will.  None the less, the question needs to be asked because it is the truth.  We elected the first black President of the USA.  Now, are we mature enough to vote him out of office, not because he is black, but because we disapprove of his policies?

Obama and Ramadan

http://news.yahoo.com/photos/u-president-barack-obama-pauses-speaks-iftar-dinner-photo-171829558.html

Yes, there is a Christmas Tree at the white House for Christmas and a Santa Claus party.  Is that Christian?

I do not know if there is a Yom Kippur Observance?

I also do not know if there is a special day set aside for Buddhists, or Hindus?

It seems like there is selective approval here.  Yes, for a secular Christmas, Yes,  for a religious Ramadan.  No for the Jews, Buddhists and Hindus.

Now maybe the Pres. should do nothing.  Just be secular toward all religion from the White House?  Maybe we the citizens shouldn’t care because it is the expression of his personal faith? (I know he says he is a Christian!) Well, what about you?  What do you think?  We would sure like to know.

Should we Keep the Post Office

http://news.yahoo.com/postal-looks-cut-220-000-jobs-175217611.html

Some call it snail mail, some call it part of our national heritage.  Some say we can do without it, some say it is part of our overall national defense system.  What do you think?  Is the American Postal system a model of democracy, a vehicle for even the least powerful and least wealthy of the citizenship to express itself.  Or it an embarrassment of giant fiscal irresponsibility and very poor management?  Should we build one less fighter jet, buy five less cruise missiles, or just stop the multi billion dollar attacks against Libya and funnel that money to “save” the US Postal System?  Write and tell us what you think>  We sure want to know.
