Wisconsin Union Law is Fair

The passage of the collective bargaining law in Wisconsin is a vote for fairness.  This new law will level the playiing field- something that is a hallmark of President Obama’s liberal agenda.  It is noteworthy that this Wisconsin law will still allow the public employees to bargain collectively.  However, it will limit the extravagant demands of unions so that the public sector employees will no longer be paid extra high wages in comparison to their non union counterparts.  The new law will also limit the unions, thereby leveling the playing field in the area of benefits.  Right now public service union members contribute zero to both their pension and the excellent health care packages.  Who else gets those sweet deals?  So now in an effort to share the wealth, the union members will pay about 5 % into their pension and 12 % into their medical insurance.  I call that very fair and equitable.   So the unions have not been stripped of their rights.  Rather, in keeping with the Obama agenda they are required to play on a level playing field and to share their wealth with the people who actually pay their bills.  That is the taxpayer and we are cheering the Wisconsin Governor for his vision, his integrity and for doing after he was elected what he promised to do before he was elected.  He is a good and honest man and deserves to be honored.  By the way, what has Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, or Michael Moore done for us.  They get rich on our problems and then ask us to thank them for it.  Not Me!

Ohio Law Second in a Popular Revolt Against Tyranical Unions

The Ohio statue for limiting the negotiation privileges of Public Employee Unions is the second in a popular and publicly supported wave for Responsible Government.  The problem with having Unions for government employees is that the Unions apply their money to the support of candidates that favor them.  This results in a closed and circular system.  The Unions automatically support Democrat candidates who in turn are obligated to support Unions.  This means that an agency of government is obligated to support a fraction of the population ad versus the rest of the non unionized population.  The result is a prejudice against the non unionized in favor of the unionized.  This prejudice uses favorable actions of the Executive and legislative branch to singularly favor unions and thereby exclude the majority population which is non union.  This prejudice of the government in favor of the unionized means that the majority population, which is non union, is required by the law to pay for the wages, benefits and pensions of the minority.  As President Obama is fond of saying, he wants to spread the wealth around.  However, he is reaching into the pockets of lower paid non union workers in order to pay the higher wages, pensions and benefits that the unionized workers receive.  This is unfair, since the non unionized have not voluntarily agreed to do this but are forced to pay for the unionized by legislation and the tax code.  The preferential treatment of one category of people against the interests of another category of persons is coercive and it seems to this writer to be a civil rights issue.  How does this play as a civil rights issue.  Simply!  A citizens should not be required to pay for the higher wages, higher benefits and higher pensions of another group of citizens.

Wisconsin Governor Doing a Courageous Job.

Governing is not a popularity contest.  The Governor and the Government of a State should not be treated like an American Idol Game show.  The Governor is doing his job as best he sees it.  He wants to end the brutal downward spiral of the State’s economy, to stop the interest payments bleed which will eventually kill Wisconsin, and to bring honest accountability to government.   It is amazing that there is no outcry from the media concerning the democrat representatives who have run away from their jobs.  At the federal level, the last Congress of the USA faced an unprecedented show of force by President Obama.  He offered legislators money, kickbacks, perks and political promises including campaign money, resources and his appearance at their rallies.  Obama delivered on his promises for pork barrel spending to the Senators he purchased and he used Air Force One, the nation’s Jet to fly to dozens of rallies, (five alone in NJ) to support those he owned.  The cost of the jet for one use is minimally $180,000 per one way flight.  So to support NJ democrat candidates cost the US Treasury $1,800,000 taxpayer dollars! You do the math for all the Obama Campaign trips.  I think he could give Wisconsin that money and solve their money problem.  Oh, I forgot, we are talking about “do as I say and not as I do” Obama!  Is this man ever going to stop scolding the citizens of USA?  I think not until 2012 when he’s let go. By the way, during the onslaught of Obama/Reid/Pelosi, the Republicans did not run away from their jobs.  Although they were totally ignored by the majority democrats, the republicans stayed, spoke out, proposed viable alternatives and valiantly tried to use the art of persuasion and sound reasoning to win the fight.  Obama, Reid, Pelosi, the Unions and the bribes were too much and the democrats won the battle but as evidenced by the 2010 election, they may have lost the war.

Wisconsin Governor Does His Job

In Wisconsin, Republican Governor Scott Walker championed a bill that would make public workers bargain for wages alone and require them to pay 5.6 percent of their pension costs; they pay nothing now. They would have to foot 12 percent of their healthy care premiums, up from 6 percent. Police and firefighters wouldn’t be covered by the measure, which Republican legislative leaders had hoped to pass by the weekend. Yesterday, University of Wisconsin-Madison students walked out of classes at the urging of student government and campus newspapers and marched to the Capitol. There, they joined protesters who filled the rotunda to chant, bang drums and sing, and spilled outside. Two things stand out about this article.  First is the very modest scope of the proposed law.  It contains what the rest of the non union citizens of the nation are required to do.  All of the people who are non union make contributions to their health care! (or they have modest health plans instead.)  Do the Unions want the special treatment that because they do not work for private companies they don’t need to pay what everybody else pays.  And PENSIONS. Come on, who hears anything about pensions anymore.  The vast majority of people do not have free employer paid pensions.  They need to pay into a 401 K with their (pretax) salary and if they are very lucky they get a match of 5% from the company.  The unions get 100% tax payer supported pensions.  THOSE DAYS ARE OVER for the rest of the nation so the public employees had better (as 78 Year Old Richard Luger said) GET REAL.  Oh yes, there is a third item.  The students who were urged by their student government.  Is that a State supported tax payer funded public university?  Are the teachers and other employees salaried and tenured by the Tax Payers?  Are we supposed to actually believe that it wasn’t the teachers themselves who encouraged the students to be absent and join the protest?  This calls for an investigation of the teachers.  And I am sure when the investigation starts there will be cries of “Academic freedom” and all the liberal socialist communist shouting about the conservatives and of course the new bogey man, the tea party movement.  Let the investigation begin because the taxpayers are not paying the State University teachers to foment and incite public demonstrations against their employer.  And if the teachers are found to be at  fault let there be an administration reprimand and the threat of removal of tenure.  After all, tenure itself should be removed, it is a reward for the indolent and promotes slackers. By the way, there are millions of people out of work.  I hear it is cold in Wisconsin but the property values are way down.  So if the walkouts are followed by strikes and organized work stoppages, FIRE THEM.  There are millions waiting to take their public tax paid jobs.  The base line is this:  If we are going to get out of the mess we have put ourselves in, then it requires that we all work together.  If each special interest group is going to tenaciously hold on their privileges and insist that the “other guy/gal” take the hit, well it ain’t gonna work and we are all going down the crapper.  This reform is very modest and very reasonable and instead of forcing the Wisconsin government to lay off 6600 workers, the unions should cooperate.  And for those who say, let “them” lay us off we will just get public paid unemployment dollars instead.  Beware! that pot of free gold is quickly disappearing.  Last point, and for those who think the Chinese are going to come here to become our bosses think again they have their own billions of workers to employ.  Oh, they HAVE ALREADY come.  What do you think the Chinese leader was doing here last month?  He visited his chief manager Obama.  Then he talked to his area managers the Geithners and the Hilarys. And as he left he took a tour of his land holdings, farms, cities, factories and he encouraged the “workers” to work harder.  Obama said we needed to change, well this is a big part of that change.  It’s called REDISTRIBUTE THE WEALTH.  Ask Him.

Russia Wants Help of Roman Catholic Church!

http://www.zenit.org/article-31780?l=english

On my blog at http://www.bible-study-for-everyone.com I chronicled the movement of the Russian Orthodox East toward the Roman Catholic West.  Now, the visit of the President of Russia to the Pope is the latest and very highly significant event in this process.  The Russians have experienced what  the West Europeans and Americans are feverishly pursuing.  They finally emerged from their 70 year slavery to Communist Socialism.  And they intend never to go back.  Therefore, they see hope in only one place, it is the home of their one time arch enemy, the Christian Church.  Like Saint Paul, the one time persecutors of the Church have had a Damascus Road experience.  They now embrace the Church as a haven of sanity in an insane world and having experienced the dictatorship of Utopian Socialist Dictators like Lenin and Stalin, the Russians now see that the formerly Christian Europeans are blindly following materialism and liberal socialism into their own enslavement.  So, the Russians have already turned to their native religion, Russian Orthodoxy and Russian Orthodoxy has reached out to Pope Paul II and now to Benedict XVI.  They want to join hands and cooperate and collaborate on joint missions because they realize that rampant Secularism and resurgent radical Islamic Jihadism is a very dire threat to peace, freedom and stability.

Young People Rallies?

http://www.straitstimes.com/BreakingNews/World/Story/STIStory_635936.html

Do all the young people at the rallies in Arab countries, in Wisconsin, USA, and in Belgium Are they all employed?

Do they pay rent or a mortgage? Do they pay for their own tuition, food, clothes?  If they do – fine let them cry for anarchy.  But if they do not pay the bills and the taxes, then let them be quiet.  Why?  Because when there is nobody who is required to work for them and there is nobody with the cash to pay their bills, and there are no longer government workers or private employees to pick up their trash, empty their toilets and deliver them their free house and clothes and the like, then they will all turn coward, run scared, and after they bitch and moan, they will allow the demogogue to take power with promises that the government will be their mommy.  Then all the young will point the finger at their parents, as they always have, and accuse them of not stopping the coming tyranny that will enslave them for one thousand years.

is this really fair?

I do not wrestle so I do not know too much about it.  And I absolutely agree that boys are equal to girls.  As a matter of fact, I completely endorse women in full combat roles.  I do not see a difference between a man getting killed and a woman getting killed.  Yet, I wonder if it is really necessary to have girls on “boys?!” wrestling teams?  Hey, it’s not the end of the world but what do you think?

Is Bill O’Reilly a Closet Obama Fan?

Hey! the Obama Interview aside, I wonder if Bill O’Reilly voted for Obama.!?  Right after the 2008 election I thought Bill O’Reilly was a Obama man.  Then it seemed that he soured on the President.  This antipathy to President Obama increased the more the Stock Market, and especially GE declined.  Then there was a period when I thought I heard Mr. O’Reilly pleading for an interview with the Prez.  During that “whining” time, I thought that Bill was “fair and balanced” toward the Prez.  But immediately leading up to “THE INTERVIEW” and ever since, “THE INTERVIEW” I seem to be hearing Bill O Reilly fulfilling the answer to his last interview question ” What can we do for YOU, Mr. President?”  Well, this viewer does not think that The Factor needs to help the Pres. get elected again in  2012.
