Paul Ryan is the Leader America Needs

We need a leader and Representative Paul Ryan is the man of the hour.  He understands economics.  He also understands the economics needed to get the USA back into play as the greatest economy in the world.  This will not only help America, it will help the world.  Yes, I am bold enough to say that a Paul Ryan Presidency will make the world a better place.

He is also a very good communicator and what he tells you is the truth.  Today we have a lot of double speak, mis-speak and down right lies.  We also have a huge amount of political theater by the ” I will veto it Obama”  and the “dead on arrival Reid.”  We need Paul Ryan because he has sound financial ideas, these ideas are part of an all encompassing plan, and if we implement the plan we will stop this double dip recession, save medicare and Social Security and put America back to work on the road to prosperity.

Paul Ryan loves America.  He is a proud citizen of our nation and he has served in our Congress with dignity and integrity.  There is little  likelihood that like Obama, Ryan would appoint people to his cabinet who, like the President, do not love America .

The names of the people who are endorsing a Ryan bid for the White House show that he would unite and strengthen the Republican party, (see names in the article).  It also indicates that Congressman Ryan enjoys across the spectrum political support.

Although I cannot promise it, I also believe that if Paul Ryan wins the nomination from Mitt Romney, that Governor Romney will commit his strong  campaign force behind a Ryan drive for the election.

Paul Ryan is a good campaigner,  and will be a match for Obama.  Paul’s love for the truth will not allow Paul’s respect for the institution of the Presidency to limit him as he refutes the smear campaign certain to be launched against him by the Obama White House.

In every area and according to every criteria, a Paul Ryan Presidency will be very good for America.  He is the leader we need.

Trump Wants Obama to Win

Donald Trump is a complete phony.  He is a plant for the Democrat machine.  He is completely lying about his anti Obama positions.  He is being used by the Democrat machine to force a third party candidate who will siphon off the needed votes to insure that Obama wins in 2012.  I will make further comment about this later today.  I did not get to it, on that day.  But I have further consideration of the Donald Trump run as a third party candidate.  It is an generally acknowledged concept that when there is a third party it is to the detriment of the Republicans.  It is one thing for Trump to proclaim that he is Republican and will try for the nomination.  It is a completely different thing for him to run as a third party.  To run for the nomination means he is serious about being a candidate but will abide by the will of the majority.  To run as a third party is to be a spoiler who intentionally divides the Republican party for the sake of a guaranteed win for the Democrat.  If “the Donald” runs as a third party candidate then he is nothing more than a Judas.

Obama, Sarkozy and Cameron are Liars

I am embarrassed.  As a proud citizen of the most powerful nation in the world, I am ashamed of the conduct of this War of Illegal aggression against the Sovereign State of Libya.

Yes, I tis a dictatorship.  But so are many, yes MANY nations around the world.

Yes, it is a third world nation, but so are many African and Arab countries.

Yes, it has the oil in abundance, but so do many nations in Africa.

And I am ashamed, because the United Nations is a whore.  It sold itself to French Imperialist Sarkozy, British Colonialist Cameron and Just straight out liar Obama.  This article which clearly details the egregious aggression of the  NATO European Military Alliance against Libya, is a terrible indictment of the Obama Administrations duplicity and outright lying in its pursuit of World domination at the expense of fundamental civil liberties.  All three leaders are liars.  And I hate Liars.  It is impossible for any truthful citizen of our world to read this article and conclude that the NATO ( that definitely includes USA, no matter how much Obama seeks to hide his lies and bullying ways)  I HATE BULLIES…NATO is engaged in an illegal act of criminal aggression of enormous scope which boggles the mind.  NATO and therefore the USA is engaged in an undeclared war, which by definition of the so-called “August” Hague Tribunal,  is itself a war CRIME.

In so far as the USA has engaged with the NATO military alliance in illegal acts of aggression against the people of Libya and against the Sovereign and independent country of Libya… these actions must be brought before the tribunal of fair and equitable American public opinion and judged according to the laws and rules of the USA.  It may, (sadly) be that Obama and his administration are found to be criminally engaged in an illegal act of international significance which  would be cause for impeachment and conviction by the Congress of the USA.

 

Buffet Wants You to Pay More Taxes

http://news.yahoo.com/stop-coddling-super-rich-buffett-084140678.html He may be a billionire willing to pay more taxes.  He may also want every other billionaire to pay more taxes.  But by his assumption that by taxing the SUPER Rich we can solve the trillions of dollars of deficit, he forgets to tell you one very important factor.  The tax code does not single out JUST the super rich.  It is an across the spectrum system.  Therefore, when a deduction is removed for the so called super rich, it is removed for everybody all the way down the line.  And when new taxes are imposed on the so-called super rich, they are imposed on everybody down the line.  A person like Buffet has to be living in the heady clouds of eighty year old super billionaires to imagine that the Federal government is merely going to target the super rich.  Instead, the will use the so-called super rich as a cover up to reach into the pockets of every working American in order to fund their derelict spending.  If Buffet and his ilk want to, let them send a check to the IRS as a donation to the cause.  But why does he insist that a person making three hundred thousand, (note that his taxes were almost seven BILLION) – why does he insist that a person making three or even five hundred thousand must pay up and pay more?  You know it is nice when your neighbor says that it is YOU who should pay more.  It is really easy for the other guy to point to the fellow next to him and say, “He should pay more.”  My dad, who made about two hundred fifty a week maximum, and was forced out of business at age 56 without a pension or health insurance, always was very suspicious of people like Buffet who tell the government to tax more.  He told me that the super rich indeed would only pay one of two percent more and that it would not hurt them at all, but, dad would say, the Feds will also trickle down that tax until I too am paying more and the effect will be that the super rich lose a percent but I lose fifty dollars and that fifty dollars is a lot more valuable to me than the percent is to them.  He would say, “Hey, friend, keep your hand out of my pocket.”

 

 

Should we Keep the Post Office

Some call it snail mail, some call it part of our national heritage.  Some say we can do without it, some say it is part of our overall national defense system.  What do you think?  Is the American Postal system a model of democracy, a vehicle for even the least powerful and least wealthy of the citizenship to express itself.  Or it an embarrassment of giant fiscal irresponsibility and very poor management?  Should we build one less fighter jet, buy five less cruise missiles, or just stop the multi billion dollar attacks against Libya and funnel that money to “save” the US Postal System?  Write and tell us what you think>  We sure want to know.

Obama cries Foul!

Obama aired his frustration with the ways of Washington at an event in Michigan before pivoting to his re-election campaign and a pair of big-money fundraisers in New York City.

He delivered a condensed version of that message at a fundraiser at the lower Manhattan home of movie producer Harvey Weinstein, where celebrities Gwyneth Paltrow and Jimmy Fallon, were among the approximately 50 guests who paid $35,800 each to attend.

This is a key paragraph that it is OBAMA who is not cooperating, and constantly playing politics.  He says he is against the rich “Fat cats” with their jets and all of that.   HE is the one who uses USA owned Air Force One for yet another private party and political fundraiser, at a wealthy persons private residence and it is HE who charges 35 thousand dollars each to hear him speak!  I know that he does not come to my house, because I don’t have 35 thousand dollars to throw away on a dinner with him. 

Obama said he told his Michigan audience that it deserves better than what it’s been getting from Washington.

“They look at what’s happening in Washington and they think these folks are really from outer space because they don’t seem to understand how critical it is for us all to work together, Republicans, Democrats, independents, in order to move this country forward,” Obama said.

Obama pandered to what he considers our simple stupidity when he refuses to acknowledge that he too is the hated Washington.  More of his method of always pointing at the other guy as the problem.

“We’re going to have to get engaged and we’re going to have to speak out,” Obama said. “We’re going to have to register the fact that we expect more and we expect better.”

Here he goes again.  He has nothing but scorn for the Tea Party movement.  His administration called the Tea party movement activitists, “terrorists”.  He accuses the Tea party people of being the cause of all of our financial problems and then he says the above. 

Unfortunately what we’ve seen in Washington in the last few months has been the worst kind of partisanship, the worst kind of gridlock, and that gridlock has undermined public confidence and impeded our efforts to take the steps we need for our economy,” Obama said after touring a Michigan factory that makes advanced batteries for alternative-fuel vehicles.

Please stop insulting the collective intelligence of the USA citizens.  John Steward may have called the American people “stupid.”  and you may have said that those who do not agree with you “…love to cling to their guns and their religion…”  Yet, it was only a few days ago that you still, after all this time, did not produce a written budget proposal, asked for a blank check, and threatened to “veto” the results of the congressional debate that was not rancorous nor partisan but civil and patriotic.  It was you, Mr. President who failed and exacerbated your failure with your fellow democrat, Harry Reid, who constantly said, “Any bill coming to the Senate from the House is dead on arrival.”

This is like a terrible game of basketball, (a game the president plays a lot ).  The player cries foul, when he is the person doing the foul.  When this is discovered, he claims that the refs are blind and unfair.  Then when this is discovered, he says that we need better refs to enforce the rules.  All the time the player continues to foul the opposite team and to try endlessly to win by fouling.  Obama crying “foul” all the time is a very big part of the problem.

 

Solutions for Libya.

USA stops ALL support for the Illegal Criminal Oil war aggression against Libya.

USA restores full diplomatic recognition of the legal and current government of Libya.

USA withdraws support for the crony Hague Courts Declaration of Gaddafi as a “war criminal”

USA refuses to support arrest warrant issued by that politically motivated court.

USA tells Sarkozy and Cameron it will introduce UN resolution in Security Council to end all bombing of Libya.

USA tells UN that it support UN humanitarian aid to NATO destroyed Libya.

USA flushes all State department and Defense department and Cabinet members who have war gamed this illegal war.

USA stops money to rebels in Libya, money which is siphoned into personal bank accounts of rebel leaders in France.  Yes, that is where the rebel leaders have been, come from and to which they will flee when all of this is over.

This is not easy.  It was a few months ago, when the USA would not have needed to do any of the above.  But Obama has continued to dig the hole and widen the separation between Libya and the USA.  Just 90 days ago, Obama could have stopped all of this carnage by simply refusing to be a part of the UN resolution.  Even after his support for it, he could have stopped it by living the truth of his words instead of secretly continuing to do what he told the American people he was not doing.  Now that Obama has withdrawn diplomatic recognition from Tripoli and given it to the insurgent forces, the USA has to go through third-party diplomats to even have a conversation with the legal government of Libya!  Terrible fiasco by Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama.  Maybe, “Joe the Plumber” would have done a better job?

 

 

Assad’s Syria Learned Not to Trust Obama and USA

Syria’s Assad may be a Dictator but he is not a fool.  He knows better than to trust the USA and especially a USA under Obama.  The USA had a deal with Libya and with Gaddafi and we reneged on the deal.  The USA proposed to bring Gaddafi back onto the international scene in return for his giving up terrorism.  He did.  But we did not honor our promise.  We told him we would sponsor his return to a recognized place in the world political order, if he would abandon any attempt at nuclear weapons.  He did.  But we reneged on the deal and branded him a criminal.  We promised to lift trade restrictions and to resume normal relationships with Libya and Gaddafi if he would invest more in his country and less in himself.  He did and instead, we betrayed him in the UN and attacked his new cities, his roads, building, TV stations, radio facilities, etc.  In every instance where the USA made promises to Libya and Gaddafi under President Bush, the Obama regime reversed course and played Judas betraying every single promise made.

Well Assad, has eyes to see and ears to hear.  He has a much stronger military and a much stronger hold on power.  He does not trust the West and has ample reason for refusing to cooperate.  He just looks to Egypt and sees the long time ally of USA, Hosni Mubarak, who was betrayed by USA and is now in a prison cage, like some sick monkey.  Then he looks to Libya, whose country is in ruins, not because of Gaddafi, but because of months of daily bombing by UN condoned and NATO supplied attack bombers, and missiles.

The Obama support for this illegal and criminal war of aggression is disgraceful.  The Congress must immediately stop all funding for this “oil war” which is severely hurting the Libyan people because they continue to support their legal government.  Further, the Senators, like Mc Cain and Kerry who support this terrible colonialist imperialist war, should look at their own record and retract their war mongering support for this war of aggression.  Lastly, the Departments of Defense and State should be warned by the whole Congress that the legally elected Representatives of the American people are not going to idly condone the misuse of America military assets, power, personnel and money in support of this egregious assault against the civilian population of Libya.  And then, when we have rebuilt what we have destroyed, maybe in ten years or so, then we can be trusted again.  After all, who can trust a liar?

Debt Crisis says that America is Alive and Well

Hooray, this article is not about dysfunction, it is not about childish games, it is not even about mere politics…rather it is about America and the indicators signal that the USA is very much alive and very healthy…yes, very healthy indeed!

All of this activity indicates that our people and our legislators and our leaders really do care about America.  However, this writer still wonders about President Obama, since I see that his posturing and pontificating has left Mitch Mc Connell saying that Obama needs to finally indicate what he WILL sign and we are in the game.  That is cynical on the President’s part and leaves him with just too, yes, too much power.

But today is a glorious day for America.  It is because our legislators actually DO care about America.  All of the political theater is a good thing.  It means people are willing not to shout each other down but to demonstrate according to LAW that one side is not able to bully and cripple the other side.  That is good for America.

Today is a glorious day for America because (as I address in a previous blog) The House Republicans were not betrayed by their Speaker.  Instead, they were given their fair chance to thrown a legal punch at the other side.  hooray for Politics because if one side feels helpless and disenfranchised then all is lost.

It may seem that all of this political theater is meaningless.  But, I encourage you to see it as the most meaningful thing that we could ever be doing.  How is that? It is because both sides are passionate.  That is a good thing.  Both sides believe they are right for America.  That is a good thing.  Both sides have ways to destroy the other side.  And although they do a lot of dodging and weaving and feinting and jabbing, yet, they ULTIMATELY do not really want to destroy each other.  And that is a very good thing!!

But there is another.  He sits in a house called white and he wags his finger, and he preaches and he pontificates but has shown himself to be vacuous and duplicitous.  And while the earnest partisans fight, he schemes and maneuvers and plans his next nefarious move.  He does not love the game. He does not love the nation,  He cares only about his own agenda and that agenda, surprisingly, may be to destroy the very nation over which he presides.  Why destroy it?  Because he does not love it.
