This article about the Khmer Rouge of Cambodia is very disheartening. It would seem that the people of Cambodia are powerless against their political leaders! The article states that 1.6 million were murdered. That is a great amount of people. Then why has it taken so long to give justice to the dead. The Khmer Rouge and the Maoists are the same. Mao had fifty million killed. The Maoists and the Stalinists are the same. Stalin had about thirty million killed. And the Stalinists and the Nazi’s are the same. Hitler had 17 million killed. However, the world fought a war against Hitler and ignored Stalin’s atrocities. Some Western liberal journalists like Walter Lippmann denied and then excused Stalin. Recently, we have heard Secretary Dunn of the Obama Administration say that her favorite political figure was Mao. It seems she too denied or excused the mass murders of his brutal regime. And today we have the Obama Administration illegally at war with Gaddafi while ignoring the genocides of sub Sahara Africa. Regarding Libya, this writer has consistently said that the Obama War against Gaddafi is illegal Western Aggression. It is a war and not a United Nations Security Action. The forces of Colonialist France and Imperialist Britain are behind that horrific bombing campaign. And it is played out in our news media as though we should all yawn at it and turn to the latest hollywood dress contest! At least the Republican leadership in the House of Representatives has called out the President for his warmongering and criminal actions. They have even been bold enough to defeat resolutions by the two Presidential losers McCain and Kerry, who offered craven support to Obama for his brutal Libya war policies. But they fall short in not refusing funding for even more daily bombing of the Libyan people and more daily destruction of their property, housing, building, roads, hospitals, schools private property. How would you feel if your neighbors all joined together to wag a finger of shame at the hooligans who were smashing your house to rubble but did not lift a hand to stop them? Well, mere shaming the President is the same thing. The Congress must tell the military that it will not pay another dime for the Libyan Criminal Aggression by the Obama administration. Now, back to the Khmer Rouge. It is wrong that the leaders of such admittedly mass criminal murder of 1.6 million people should have been allowed to remain free until now. It is even more wrong that the cynical politicians of Cambodia and the United Nations should treat this case so lightly. I guess that Asian lives are not as valuable as Western lives. And where is Israel and Ellie Weisel? Are the Jews of the concentration camps more valuable than Asian lives? And where is Obama? Does he not want to pontificate on this issue of long-standing grievance? Such an attitude does ask the question of “Who is there to defend the murdered?”

Are Terrorists Just Killers?

After all these years and after all the efforts of the Alliance, the USA, the Democratically elected government of Iraq, there is still bombings, suicide missions and assassinations? What do these so-called terrorists want? A person cannot deal with someone else who just kills and kills but has no specific agenda other than the killing. Is it time for all of us to recognize that the terrorist is merely a cold-blooded killer who uses the cover of terrorism as an excuse for carnage? As difficult as it is for Westerners to understand, it seems that these Arab countries are still very tribal and that they are willing to randomly kill a lot of people of the other clan. They do it simply because the people are of the other clan. Yes, it may also be because the other people are of a different Islamic sect. Anyway, we did away with the “horrible” dictator Saddam and unleashed the terror and the horror and the insanity of the groups that he suppressed. So, although we would like to think that the Islamic Arab nations are like the Christian West, they are not. The Western culture, politics and social structure is formed by and informed by a 2000 year history of Christianity. (Yes, Christianity as a religion has its faults but the fact of it being a core formational aspect of Western society cannot be denied.) The Islamic counties are also informed by a long history of Islam. However, they are still in a tribal period of development and their societies still practice religiously motivated brutal murder and clan warfare without any significant resistance or objection on the part of the Islamic leadership. In fact, it is a fearful prospect that it is Islam itself that fosters such extremely violent behavior. So what to do? This writer opposed the Iraq war and the Afghanistan war because it was the intervention of Western Christian and Western political systems into areas that were thoroughly Islamic and functioned politically in a radically tribal way. I believed that the injection of twentieth century concepts into a 7th or 8th century culture was not productive and could cause the chaotic violence which we have witnessed. So, what to do? The USA should continue to use it moral, cultural, religious, and political influence in these areas in a peaceful way. We should not resort to regime chance, political assassination of leaders such as Hussein and Gaddafi, nor should we foment political upheaval through the CIA. All of these methods are not effective and the evidence of these past years seems to vindicate that our interference in the region is counter productive. The violence that follows the dictators that we remove is equal to if not greater than the dictator!

The evidence is just too great. It is overwhelming. It indicates that President Obama is a key person along with Sarkozy in the mafia style usurpation of power with our USA government. He is also indicated as someone who thinks he is Emperor and does not need to listen to Internation law when the use of such law does not suit him

Get out of Libya.

Get out of Libya. That is what Secretary of Defense Gates meant when he addressed the Congressional committee. Let’s face it, Obama made a mistake and he should be big enough and bold enough to realize it, confess it but above all, he needs to get out of Libya. We can all help in this. Our President is very inexperienced and naive about most things and especially about international affairs. In the case of Libya he made a very big mistake and when the election comes he will be judged, but in the meantime, he is the President and has committed our forces to pursue the wrong policy and engage in the wrong war. Libya is minimally a rebellion of dissent former army officers and maximally a civil war. In both cases, the USA has nothing to do with it. This is even more true when we consider our lack of involvement in the Ivory Coast where there are thousands of genocidal deaths. In Libya almost none and definitely none genocidal. So, what to do? We need to cut the President some slack, and for now let him off the hook he so foolishly got all Americans onto when he arrogantly pronounced that Gaddafi must go. The President must totally disengage from Libya immediately. This course of action is in our national self interest. Additionally, we can encourage Obama to take diplomatic initiatives to impress upon Gaddafi our help if he takes immediate actions to democratize his government. President Obama’s ideological doggedness should not involve our nation in pursuit of the wrong cause for the wrong reasons no matter how nice a guy we think our smiling President to be. Rather, in the use of lethal force, we need to encourage our President to stop immediately his ill advised foray into an adventure which is really a third war. ( NOTE) I posted this before but it needs repeating!

McCain and Obama Warmongers

I thought I would never be writing this about John Mc Cain, but it is time for him to retire. He is a war hero, Yes. He suffered terribly under the Viet Cong. Yes. He has served in the Senate honorably for many terms. Yes. But this victim of war and its terror and its horror now promotes war. He is a loud shouting voice in favor of bombing Libya. He advocates the continued illegal aggression against the Libyan people by the United nations and North Atlantic treaty Alliance, NATO. He is a Republican who is the mouth piece in the US Senate for the terrorist methods of the Obama Administration as it uses drones, bombs, missiles, and secret CIA agents against the legal government of Libya. Now Mc Cain has totally turned irrational as he attacks his own Republican party as being isolationist. Please note that Senator Mc Cain has ample opportunity to daily use the private meetings and the closed-door meetings of the Senate in order to express personally, officially and forcefully to his colleague his views, but instead, he uses the public broadcast system, the leftist media outlets and the public Senate floor in order to castigate those of his party who do not agree with him. Like so many these days, he is a “John Mc Cain” Republican in the same ilk as a “Scott Brown” and “Olympia Snow” Republican, which means that they stand for what they themselves believe and that the electorate has no idea how they will vote because once elected these kind of “John Mc Cain” Republicans do exactly as they please and the citizens who elected them be damned. At least Michelle Bachmann is openly a “Tea Party” Republican and Paul Ryan is a “on the table for all to see” fiscally conservative Republican. President Obama campaigned and was elected as a “new” Democrat but he is increasingly an “old” Democrat who tells the citizens a vague message of “Hope and Change” and when elected he does what ever he pleases including an ill thought out “surge” in Afghanistan and an illegal war of aggression against Libya. Sadly, McCain has six years, but if he does not turn back to his basic conservative base, he should be primaried and replaced by a more peace-loving Republican. As for Obama, his term is up and he should be a one term President. We have done the “historic” bit for him and now he needs to be retired before he does any more damage to the US Economy and world standing.

The key questions that must be pressed on Obama Administration officials is , “Why is the so-called popular uprising of the people of Libya not succeeding?”

According to the article cited, the key to USA diplomatic policy in Libya is that we are supporting the vast majority of the people who are in a massive revolt against the Libyan government and that this effort MUST NOT be an outside invasion or an imposition of Western military power in Libya. Yet, the Obama people say okay to missile strikes against the government and its building, cities, telecommunications, ports, roads, airports and citizens. The Obama people say okay to the use of A10 killer machine low flying aircraft against Libyan uniformed military personnel. (The A10 can kill 5000 persons in one minute.) Yes, in a minute. President Obama signs a “secret” protocol, which has the effect of an empowering order, to allow USA military and clandestine forces to supply weapons and training to the rebel army inside Libya. They also send Special Forces operatives into Libya as attack spotters who call in the coordinates for airs strikes and missile attacks. USA government operatives under the CIA are actively engaged in fomenting anti Libyan government propaganda. Yet, all of this is failing to topple the government. Do you not think that a very weak, unpopular and merely dictatorial gang of a few Libyan leaders would have been routed by now? Is it possible that the legal and internationally recognized government of Libya is actually supported by the people? Is Hilary telling us one thing but pursuing an opposite policy? It is just not true that the government of the USA is attempting to help the Libyan people. Rather, the USA government is acting as a criminal aggressor in an undeclared war of conquest against the legal government of oil rich Libya. Our government is doing this to seize control over the national treasure of Libya which is vast oil deposits. Our government is using an obsequious and compliant United Nations in a betrayal of the very essence of the United Nations Charter. No one may care about Libya, after all it is an arid desert country of dark-skinned arab muslim people. However, this writer sees in this care-less-ness the same ignorance on the part of the USA citizens that allowed us and the rest of the world to ignore the Nazi genocide against the Gypsies, Homosexuals, Roman Catholics and Jews. We are involved in Libya in such a way as to justify the charge of “State Sponsored Terrorism” to be lodged against the USA in the same international courts that have accused Serbs, Croats and Sudanese of Crimes against Humanity.

Is Gates Gone Because Like McChrystal he Disagreed With Obama?

Gates seemed to part of the Obama Administration for the long-term. At first he was merely the silent carry over from the Bush administration. His continuation was a surprise because he was the CIA man during “waterboarding” and he was Secretary of Defense after Donald Rumsfeld. That made him a participant in what the Obama administration has blamed for the wrong war, (Iraq) and the wrong methods “waterboarding’. However, this writer was glad because Mr. Obama had denounced both and claimed that he would call all American troops home by 2009 and that he would prosecute CIA personnel as criminals and he would enter more fully into the “right” war which he defined as Afghanistan. However right Mr. Obama’s ideas may have seemed to the millions who elected him, they were worrisome to the Military, the Intelligence Community and to the other millions who did not vote for Barrack Hussein Obama. So when Gates decided to stay on as the Secretary of Defense and the Obama people allowed him, many felt relieved that sense and sanity would prevail over political ideology.

However, with the recent support of the Obama Administration for what they call the Arab Spring, the USA witnessed the reality and complexity of a duplicitous White House. Some review first:

Please remember that Obama went to Egypt and the whole Mid East as one of the very first things he did as President. During that 2009 trip the President called upon the Arab world to embrace a whole new concept of Freedom, and democracy. It was a call to revolution. It was a speech addressed to the Arab World and just recently a later installment of that call was made by Obama in his speech for a Israeli return to 1967 borders.

This blogger has no inside information concerning any USA aid to revolutionary groups within the mid eastern counties and I have no insider information concerning CIA and other clandestine support for rebel groups inside those counties.

However, response to a new US President and the ideas of the “Audacity of Hope” concepts put forth by the Obama government seem to be linked with organized and well equipped rebellions within the target nations. The central planned and unified command structures of the uprisings in Tunisia and Egypt and Syria and Libya are all too obvious- namely, the same issues for the street campaigns, the same signage, the same titles for each of the escalating days of “reckoning” “justice” “”rage” etc themes which indicated central planning and unified organization and funding instead of spontaneous and locally inspired discontent. These factors indicate revolutionaries from outside the targeted countries who were provocateurs inciting street rebellions.

Then we get Tunisia which government easily collapses. Then Egypt which also easily falls. But Libya and Syria seem to linger. The weaker of the two and the one with the most oil is Libya so we see the charade of humanitarian assistance at the end of 218 cruise missiles and two thousand five hundred bombing raids. We see the farce of UN sanctioned mandates for civilian protection which is quickly used as a coverup for violent illegal aggression against the armed forces of the legal Libyan government in support of the rag-tag rebellion army.

Suddenly Secretary Gates appears before Congress with a sour faced Admiral Mullen next to him as Gates declares his opposition to the “war” in Libya. And just as suddenly we hear of Gates being replaced by an old politically trusted hack named Leon Paneta and the CIA job going to General Patraeus whose strategy in Afghanistan is failing. Could it be that Paneta’s new job is to bring the military into line politically with the Obama idea of the “New World Order” and to bring the CIA into that same orbit. (Interesting that Obama is also bringing McChrystal back as some kind of picture boy to be paraded around indicating additional military support for the Obama agenda?! Sad to see such a really great General reduced to a political puppet. But then again, when Obama shuts a person out, like he did McChrystal, the punishment is severely enforced until the person being punished begs for mercy.)

Is the Arab Spring Actually an Obama Idea for World Revolution?

Not too much here to say that was not covered in other posts. However, one absolutely must ask the question of the connection betweeen the NATO led and Obama backed Aggression to topple the Libyan government and Obama’s speech that Irael must return to 1967 borders. Was the “1967 Borders” speech an overt threat to Israel? Was Obama warning them to stay out of his “Middle East Spring” plan? Did he force the Isreal leader to speak supportively here in order for Obama to continue to give them the money? I believe that the Master Mind of the New World Order is Barrack Hussein Obama, President of the United States, Commander in Chief of all USA military forces, leader of the NATO alliance, and Executive Director of the Democrat Party. Add to these New World Order achievements the increased legality for INTERPOL to arrest US citizens within the USA, the recent arrest of the Serbian General on a warrant issued by a International Court, and the pursuit of other so called “enemies” by the United Nations. Is the New World Order being put into practice right in front of us based on an agenda that such an international police power is only to be used against crimnals and other bad guys? However, who elected these leaders and Judges, and Police departments? And who trained and deputized and empowered the international police force? Does anyone really believe that such international power, once given, can be stopped?

What is the true intention of the massively illegal Libyan War conducted by the Western military alliance called NATO? This writer believes that NATO involvement in Libya is a “Resource War” for control of Libyan oil. The phony coverup of so called protection of innocent civilians does not fit with the delivery of such humanitarian aid by bombs on Gaddafi’s home town, by 218 Cruise missiles against uniformed Libyan troops defending their nation against armed rebellion, and now by the use of increased anti personnel weapons capable of slaughtering Libyan uniformed troops in the field of battle. The article purports that the Leader of the Revolution in Libya was potentially leaving but the Western nations prevented it! The question is, “Does the Libya Resource War represent a resurgent European militarist imperialism? Is the USA the secret ally of this Western “first world” aggression upon the “third world” Libya? Are the American people now part of a covert international terrorism which seeks the clandestine overthrow of governments we do not like?

CIA Definitely Involved In Libya.

Somehow the USA and other Western nations think that it is okay for them to secretly involved inside of country with the intention of killing its leader and overthrowing it government by force. As we review the actions of the Obama Administration relative to Libya we see that it engages in duplicity, which is essentially lying. Maybe that does not surprise us in the USA who have read the Baldacci novels and the Bourne movies. However, it underscores the fact that when other nations accuse the USA of itself being a terrorist nation, then we cannot legitimately disagree. This writer, however, believes that although we understand the need for spying, the actions of the USA relative to phony rebels and the continued escalation of a “Resource War for Oil” in Libya reveals a cynical federal administration in Washington. It is an administration that believe in the ideas first said you the Nazi Josef Goebbels, namely, that if you tell the people a lie often enough they will believe it. Do citizens of the USA really want to be followers of a Nazi propangandist? As you read the article please be honest to recognize facts revealed, namely, that the USA is spending an enormous amount of money for planes, missiles, etc. in order to overthrown the legal government of Libya, which makes us, liars, cheats, and terrorists. (It hurts me to say this about my nation, I served in the army for thirty years and four of those years in full support of our wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. But those were declared wars using our troops out in the open.)
