Libyan Roman Catholic Cleric asks for Bombing to Stop

It seems like all we hear about the Libyan government is that they are liars.  Well, if we want peace then we are going to overcome our prejudice and stop the other side liars.  This includes the media which has depicted all Libyan government information as propaganda and all Libyan government tours as being done by “minders” which is to call the tour a farce and the leaders of the tours liars.  It is no different in a family rift, because if all persons involved in the family argument call all the others liars, then there is no possibility of ever coming to peace.  In a case where the attacker always insists that the person attacked is always lying, then the only conclusion is war between the parties until the one with the biggest weapons wins.  It is time for President Obama to take his Nobel Peace Prize seriously and make peace in Libya instead of attempting to subdue that nation, destroy its cities, and kill its leader.

Ukraine Church Flourishing

The above link will take you to a series of YOU TUBE videos about the newly elected leader of the Ukrainian Greek Church.  This church is in union with Rome and Pope Benedict.  This wonderful event is exciting and the videos are good.  Further, it is increased evidence that the efforts of Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI are very successful in joining together again the Christian Churches of the East and West.  As these cooperative efforts succeed many of the cultural, ethnic and religious ties between the two major Christian regions will be strengthened and I believe the areas will have increased, prosperity and a renaissance of arts, music and culture.

Vatican and Christian Leaders Promote Peace

Click the above for a great video.  You will not see this on your nightly news.  It is good that the Christian religious leaders of the world have initiated and continued to work for world peace.  Hey, you might get upset with some of the disturbed priests who have done bad things.  But taken as a whole, the church carries out world wide charity, world wide medical care and world wide efforts for peace.  Yes, some priests are more than stupid in their actions but then there is John Paul ii, Benedict xvi and Mother Theresa of Calcutta, Father Damien of the Lepers and Maxim Kolbe of Daucau.
