VP Joe Biden’s Nick Name

Maybe you can help here?  I have heard quite a few times, V. P. Biden nicknamed, “Bite Me”  Biden.  From where does that come?  I know that Rahm (Dead Fish) Immanuel derives from his sending a colleague a dead fish wrapped in a newspaper.  But I don’t know the source of “Bite Me” for V.P. Biden!
