Killing Gaddafi Produced Terrorism

http://news.yahoo.com/libya-car-bomb-hits-swedish-consulate-benghazi-103128741.html

The murder of Gaddafi, the Libyan President by forces useful to NATO produced terrorism and not the democracy and peace that Obama, Sarkozy, and Cameron promised.

At the time of the illegal criminal aggression by NATO against Libya, the promise made by Obama and the rest of the crew was that they were only providing “cover” for the rebel groups.  The British, French and Americans had convinced the Russian and the Chinese that they should not veto the Security Council resolution on Libya because the intentions of the NATO European military alliance were to “level the playing field” and give the French sponsored and British supported rebels a change against the legal central government in Tripoli.

France was once an imperialist colonial empire that fought against Vietnamese independence in the 1950’s. The French  had a very bloody war with Algeria in the 1960’s, trying to keep that North African nation occupied as a French colony.

The British colonial empire is well-known.  It was subjugated a third of the world, keeping the Indian nation a colony until 1949.  During the empire period the British were feared as a brutal colonial empire that used government forces to kill any nationalist’s who opposed British rulership.  Remember, America fought two wars against British imperial control in 1775 and again in 1812.  Britain also helped the Confederates during our civil war.

Ignoring both the French and British past as dominator of weaker counties, the USA under Barack Obama joined them in an unprovoked attack against the sovereign State of Libya itself a member of the United Nations.  At the time the Libyan government of Gaddafi was recognized by 101 countries as the legal government.  The attack, marketed as merely giving air cover to rebel groups, was factually illegal criminal aggression by the NATO military alliance.  Such aggression had been condemned by the Nuremberg War trials as War Crimes and Crimes against humanity.

So what do we see today.  We see Libya no more a democracy than it was under Gaddafi.  Rather, the French sponsored and British supported ruling elite is a government not able to control various internal militias, it also cannot control terrorist groups such as the ones attacking the USA and Swedish embassy.  We see that the thousands of refugees displaced to southern Europe have remained in those countries.  And we see that the economy and standard of living among Libyan citizens has decreased.

All that was accomplished was to replaced a stable and legal government with a European puppet regime on the “dole” to France.  We merely made matters in North Africa worse and invited increased turmoil and fostered more terrorism.

If all of us can be rational for a minute, then we need to thank Russia for world peace.  The world peace prize needs to go to Vladimir Putin not Obama.  It was the French and the British who tricked NATO and the UN into forcing the legal Libya government of Gaddafi to be overthrown.  Not without a lot of help from Obama!! Why?  Who really knows?  But the oil of Libya is important to Britain and France.  And YES, (capitals intended) we really do need to remember the very dark Imperialist past of France and Britain.  It seems that their enslaving and mercantilist past is very much a present force in their politics.

The whole idea of the mid eastern Caliphate is a Muslim Brotherhood idea and is backed by the faction called Al Qaeda and maybe, in some convoluted way, by the Saudi Wahabi Islamic sect.  It also seems to play well with France and Britain.  But such a Caliphate is not in the best interests of Russia and the United States.  On this issue the Obama administration is blinded by President Obama’s Muslim background and by the Liberal Eastern Academic establishment’s idea that  such a Caliphate is a natural outcome of geopolitical reality. WRONG!!!

The overthrow of the legal governments of Libya and Egypt are directly related to the wrongly informed politics of Britain, France and the USA.  ALLOW ME to be very clear.  I sincerely and honestly believe in the self determination of the future of these nation States.  However, it may be that the self-determination of these nation States will be decided by their very unique ethnic, religious and cultural demographics and not be decided by Western European and USA ideas about how and what and why!!   What should such self determination reflect?  Let the peoples of the Arab and non-Arab Middle Eastern (SW Asia) determine their own fate without any involvement of the former Imperialist France and Britain and without the ill informed interference of Obama.

If the Sunni can win on their own, so be it.  If the Shiites can win on their own, so be it.  If the Wahabi sect can win, or the Taliban, or the Al Qaeda, the Ala alawhits, so be it!!

The Western European powers of former Imperialist nations like Belgium, France and Britain need to stay out.

That is the message that Vladimir Putin is sending out, not only to the West but also to the rebels in every region.  Namely, if you really have popular support and if you really represent the regional self interests of the people in your area, then we the Russians,  ARE REAdY AND WILLING TO DEAL WITH YOUR SUCCESS.  However, if you are merely the puppets of the French, British, Belgian, znd USA Imperialist powers of the New World Order, then we, the Russians, and joined by our Chinese counterparts, we stand against you’

Friends, the Russians and the Chinese are right.  Stay out of these regional, cultural, Muslim conflicts.  Align yourself with the unfettered winner and all will be well with the world.

Obama Administration’s Foolish About Benghazi

http://news.yahoo.com/libya-militia-linked-u-attack-returns-benghazi-141851547.html

The Obama administration is the reason for the continued terrorist success in Libya.  Why?  Because Obama backed the rebel insurgents and terrorist Islamists who fought against Gaddafi. Using the romantic notion that all the Islamic countries needed was a breath of fresh Spring air, Obama ignited and then supported what has become a nightmare of terror for Libya, Egypt, and Syria.

A glaring fault of the Obama administration’s worldview is directly attributable to the President.  He seems to think that simply forcing an autocratic government out of power will automatically produce a grass-roots movement akin to the American Revolution of 1776.  However, the governments of Libya and Syria are autocratic for a vast array of social, ideological and tribal reasons.  The leadership of these regions, like that in Iraq and Iran is based on powerful clan and tribal allegiances.  These forces produced the autocratic governments, perpetuated them in existence and reinforced their continuation into this era.  The obvious breakdown of Libya and Iraq into competing tribal and clan factions, each at war with the other over land, influence and Islam, is evidence of the correctness of this analysis.  Yet, the Obama administration, its State department and the CIA that serves him, followed an amateurish plan based on romantic notions of hope and change.

Surprisingly, it is Vladimir Putin who is the voice of a seasoned and reasonable national policy regarding the Mid Eastern nations in general and Libya and Syria in particular.  Putin was betrayed during the illegal aggression against Libya which was carried out by Obama, Cameron, and Sarkozy.  In conjunction with the Belgians, these three leaders had gotten United Nations permission to protect rebels forces fighting against a member of the UN (Libya).  But the UN resolution 1973 was then used by these leaders as a cover under which they engaged their nations in criminal aggression against the legal government of Gaddafi, a government, which until his murder by the rebels, was recognized by 103 nations as the legal government of Libya.  The criminal aggression was carried out by bombing, and strafing the legal army of Libya by NATO forces.  It was carried out by the use of 213 USA cruise missiles fired against the legal army and government of Libya by NATO.  The illegal aggression was carried out by the use of USA Special Forces personnel on the ground in Libya who aided the rebels, guided the bombing raids, and spotted for the missile attacks.  The entire affair enraged Putin because it was illegal under International law.  But the powerful Belgians, French, English and Americans were never called accountable.  Instead, the puppet press of the Obama administration depicted the Libyan aggression as a war of freedom against tyranny.

Evidence of confiscated weapons shipments by Russia to the Syrian government of Assad, seems to indicated that the Russians are doing legally what the USA did illegally.  How so?  The Syrian government, like the Libyan government of Gaddafi, has an internationally recognised right of self-defense against all enemies foreign and domestic.  By the way, it is illegal, regarded as treason, and punishable by death, if a citizen or group of USA citizens attempts to overthrown the federal government by force.  So, what’s the difference with Libya?  Oh, I forgot!  We declared Gaddafi a dictator and that made every illegal and criminal action that we took, well, it made our action right!!??

Strange, isn’t it, that a former Communist KGB agent, Vladimir Putin, should be more of defender of national sovereignty and I believe in Libya, of national self determination,  then the Obama administration?

Gaddafi had moved very forcefully to attempt to atone for his terrorist actions in Lockerbie.  He acknowledged the crime and paid the blood money.  Which, although Westerners do not agree with the process, is nonetheless, regarded as an expiation for the crime.  So, if the relatives of the victims accept the blood money, they are required to exonerate the perpetrator of the crime.  (Hey, I don’t agree either.  But if we are going to play the game and accept the money then we cannot secretly decide that we have other rules that we apply to the game that are unknown to the other participant.)

Gaddafi had stopped all Nuclear bomb development in acquiesce to American demands.  He had stopped all International terrorism funding and activity in return for USA government recognition of his government.  A fact attested by the visit of Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to Gaddafi.

However, President Obama did not honor the promises of the previous USA  administration.  President Obama reneged on government to government agreements.  He decided to repudiate the promises of the USA made to Gaddafi, instead using our prestige at the United nations to get Resolution 1973 passed and then using it as a legal cover for illegal and criminal aggression against a sovereign Libya government,  an action which was condemned by Nuremberg when it was done by the Nazi against Poland, etc.

The amateurish and cavalier approach of President Obama to foreign affairs in terribly illustrated by his handling of the Benghazi murder of four Americans, including Ambassador Stevens.  It seems that President Obama thinks that he can engage in acts of war and then walk out of the oval office and go to bed, leaving the conduct of the war to others.  But what is his plan?  What is he intending to accomplish?  What is his focus in terms of the macro and micro scenario of international politics?  Where is his instruction manual for what he intends for his officials to achieve?  Just saying to his staff, “handle it.” and then going to bed is not the basis for policy, anymore than just giving a speech on a USA issue is the same as the proposal of legislation to the Congress.

Speeches and statements to staff to “handle it” are evidence of a politician who is not engaged in governing.  They are the cavalier statements of a person who has little regard for the mechanics of real life government.  Maybe, Obama thinks that all he has to do is think and speak and everybody else has to work.

Sarkozy Under Investigation?

http://news.yahoo.com/sarkozy-faces-slew-probes-immunity-ends-092003356.html  As I read this news story, and it is news not commentary, I wonder about all the moral high ground and moral posturing by Sarkozy when he spearheaded the criminal aggression against Libya.  Only a few months ago it was Sarkozy the Just against Gaddafi the Vile.  Back then, it was the France of Joan of Arc, the Britain of Churchill, and the USA of George Washington against the dirty desert dictator from Tripoli.  Back then the contrasts were so stark.  It was the tent of Libya against the Versailles of Sarkozy’s France.  But reading this article one’s eyesight focuses and the distinctions turn into desert sands which constantly morph into different shapes.  This writer has been consistent and is still committed to a “Realpolitic” that holds the self-righteous to the same standards they set for others.

In the USA, which is my county, our leader and his party have denounced terror and terrorism.  President Obama was quick to criticize the CIA for “waterboarding” which he called torture.  There was constant posturing as the Democratic Congress people like Pelosi and Senator Reid smirked about the terrible George Bush.  But today we witness President Obama willingly ordering political murder.  I have lost count of the number of assassinations by aerial drone the USA has committed.  We are told that the targets of these killings deserve what we deal to them.  They are terrorists we are told.  They are suspected of terrorism we are told.  They must be executed where they are before they have a chance to send terrorists to us.  Regularly, we are reading of another pinpoint assassination of some supposed terrorist or other as though the drone kills only the single human and leaves all others unharmed.  But we know that a drone is an aerial bomb and the alleged terrorist is joined in his death by all those around him.  Are none of the associates innocent or is anyone even standing in the vicinity of the drone’s target to be considered worthy of death?

Sarkozy, Cameron and Obama need to be investigated and also the United Nations and NATO should be called to the Bar, not only for political impropriety but also international criminal aggression.

The reports never mention the opposition forces that seek the overthrow of Assad.  Like with Libya, the Nato nations want to interfere and force the government to fall.  However, if a group of anarchists, or any other political group sought to overthrow the Obama government by force, it would be deemed treason and it would be suppressed by force and the perpetrators would be liable to execution.  So why is it different with Syria?  Obviously, the Obama government is already involved in the overthrow of the legal government of Libya by outside force.  In former days, the crime against Libya would have been condemned as criminal aggression and under Nuremberg rules it should be treated as a crime against humanity.

In the case of Libya, the Russian and Chinese were promised that UN resolution 1973 was merely to use NATO military force to protect so-called innocent civilians.  Once approved by UN, the British and French attacked the legal armed forces of the Legal Libyan government.  The excuse was that the army of the government “obviously” must be attacked in order to protect civilians.  After the 212 cruise missile strikes and the first two hundred jet fighter attacks against military installations inside of Libya, Vladimir Putin objected.  However, it was too late.  The drum beats of war had begun and the French and Brits would never accept that they were acting illegally.  So they increased their attacks with assistance from USA and the government of Belgium.  (It is very noteworthy that all three governments have a dirty colonial history of racial imperialism and genocide. (Belgium in Central Africa under King Leopold) However, the Academic community and the mass audience to Internet and TV reporting allowed themselves to condone criminal and wonton aggression because the “horrible” Gaddafi bombed a civilian aircraft over Lockerbie.  (Noteworthy here is that the Brits accepted the actual perpetrator of that crime to gain asylum in Europe.!)

Again Putin objected but to no avail and the military organization known as NATO ferociously attacked the Libyan government . And the world, its response was silence or cheering.  Silence because no one really cared about the Libyan people and cheering because of hatred for Gaddafi. By the way, NATO was originally meant to protect against Russian aggression. Amazing double standard that now they are open, obvious and arrogant aggressors.

All of this brings us to the current impasse with Syria.  The Russians and Chinese were betrayed with UN resolution 1973 and so far they have vowed not to let that happen again.  The NATO nations spent billions to wage war against Libya.  They have no taste for that kind of expense again.  They have expended their war budgets.  And the USA?  Carney’s admission of “defeat” is precursor to the coming proposal that the world community again take up war in the region.  And don’t forget the Iranians.

Obama is right not to arm the rebels.  Our own civil war dealt with the problem of outside forces as the British tried to interfere on the side of the South.  However, Carney does not mention if the Brits, French and Belgians are also refraining from funding, and arming the rebel insurrectionists.  In the light of NATO’s duplicity in the case of Libya, this writer thinks that they are secretly arming, advising and funding the insurrectionists.

When President Kennedy got involved with the war in Vietnam he decided to back the insurrection against President Diem.  The result was the murder of the President of South Vietnam in the back of a truck.  Kennedy, a co religionist with Diem, (both were Roman Catholic) intensely regretted the regicide of Diem.  Sadly, he was himself assassinated by those who have no respect for law or morality.  So far, the Obama government is content with political assassination by drone. And although the Obama government is guilty of complicity to murder Gaddafi, they have not committed to regicide by drone against Syrian President Assad.  If they did, the morality would dictate that political assassination of government leaders is righteous and therefore permissible, for anyone who thought the other guy was a so-called dictator and therefore illegitimate.  In these times when we express our politics forcefully and opening, I am sure that many individuals regard the government with suspicion.  Yet, we do not advocate violent overthrow.  What is moral for us should be our guide in dealing with others.

Obama goes Backwards

http://news.yahoo.com/obama-america-coming-back-012139891.html

The sad part of this article is President Obama himself.  He had the chance for greatness when he became President. Instead he did not trust the American people. He apologized for us before the international community which effectively renounced our efforts in WWI and WW II and under the Marshall Plan, and during the Cold War and even during Kennedy’s confrontation with the Soviet Union in Cuba.

Almost at the same time, he instigated the so-called “Arab Spring” by his inaugural speeches in North Africa and his support of CIA supported insurgencies in the countries of our ally Egypt and in Libya, a country to which we had made expansive national promises; which promises Obama quickly and brutally denied. The result was the disgraceful NATO invasion and decimation of the sovereign State of Libya under a bogus “protect the civilians” United Nations resolution 1973.  A nasty business deal between Sarkozy, Cameron and Obama which ended with the brutal, illegal and ugly murder of the legal Leader of the Revolution, Moamar Gaddafi.  Essentially, it is the same regicide that occurred under Kennedy against Diem in Vietnam.  And very sadly, regicide is a heinous crime that never leaves its perpetrators unaccountable.  As I have stated in previous articles, I believe that the NATO actions against Libya are criminal aggression, and crimes against humanity.  We should not yawn and go on our way but we should, like we did with Milosevic, require accountability from Sarkozy, Cameron, Obama and Rasmussen.

I stated at the beginning that the sad part of this article is Obama, himself.  Why?  Because, of instead of holding forth his positions in terms of health care, (really all he has) maybe even his withdrawal of troops from Iraq as instigated by President Bush, he instead attempts to blame everything, (except maybe the weather!) on his predecessor, President Bush.

Essentially, this seemingly benign speech is an indictment of the citizens of the USA.  Ultimately, it is they who are President Obama’s target and ultimately, he is blaming them.  Why?  Because in free and fair elections the people elected President Bush and the Democrat Congress and ultimately they are themselves to blame for the results.  It is remarkable that his hearers do not realize that whenever President Obama blames President Bush, he is actually blaming the people who are listening to him.

I am reminded, and I tremble to make this association, but it must be done.  I am reminded of Adolf Hitler, who at the end of his brutal and genocidal regime blamed the German people for everything that happened.  It was because they were not worthy of him.

Amazing but true. He and his generals held onto this absurdity until Hitler committed suicide in the underground bunker, rather than face the fact of a ravaged and destroyed Germany.

And before everybody goes crazy and accuses me of saying that President Obama is Hitler.  That is absolutely not true. And if the President were to ask me to the White House, I would dress in a suit and tie and call him Sir and feel very privileged that the elected President of the USA had allowed me to meet him.  None the less, the analogy stands.

So where is all of this going?  Essentially, I am a Bush and Romney man.  However, I think that President Obama has missed his “greatness” moments and the cited article reinforces the notion that he intends to run his 2012 campaign against President George W. Bush instead of against Governor George Romney.

Sad. Really!  Because, although not a Obama man, I feel that he had and perhaps still has, enormous potential for greatness.  Why do I care?  I love the USA.  Obama is the President of the USA and may be again.  Because he does not fully understand the greatness to which we the people have elected him, substituting instead accusations against us, and therefore against himself, he fails.  And his failure hurts us.  Why?  Because we need his greatness.  And his refusal to be great on our terms, deciding instead to lower himself to Democrat versus Republican partisan bickering, he has refused the greatness which may have been his destiny and was certainly the electorates intention.

Presidemt Obama needs to retire.  But he will not, And like all men who have missed their moment of greatness, he will bicker and recriminate and we will all suffer. Better to leave and build a library to your ideas.  That is the more noble path, Sir.

Kofi Annan and Peace

http://news.yahoo.com/annan-meet-assad-seeking-end-syria-violence-002653949.html  The question asked in this article is “Can Kofi Annan” broker a peace in Syria?”  My answer is an unequivocal yes.  However, there are conditions and they are the following:

1. Foreign elements such as the CIA and the British and French Spy agencies must stop fomenting the continued unrest in Syria.

2. Russia and especially Vladimir Putin must be consulted and approve any deal.

3. Iran must be consulted and included in all back door negotiations for a settlement.

4. The legal government of Syria under Assad must be respected and affirmed by the UN as the legal government of Syria.

5. The violent and armed insurgency must be disavowed, disarmed and dissolved by its foreign sponsors.

6. The legal government under Assad must be publicly, and I repeat the word “publicly” engaged and publicly guaranteed legal and legitimate means for resolution of the conflict under Syrian law.

7. The so-called Syrian National Council, which is a surrogate for France and Britain must be disavowed and required to dissolve.

8. China must be constantly consulted and included in the ongoing negotiations for the sovereignty of Syria.

9. USA, Britain and France must publicly affirm their recognition of the legal Assad government in Damascus.

10. NATO must publicly announce that it is not even entitled to intervene in the affairs of the sovereign State of Syria.

11. Turkey, as a member State of NATO must refuse to continue harboring enemies of the Syrian government such as recently defected Generals.

12. Tribal leaders, (for lack of a better “Western” term) must be included as integral to any internal agreement between the government of Syrian and the International community.

13. In the event of free and internationally monitored elections, the monitors must disavow beforehand the prejudiced and inaccurate statements of election fraud which, for instance, were routinely issued after the election of Vladimir Putin.

I recognise that the 13 conditions place all of the burden on the West respecting the sovereign integrity of the Syrian government of President Assad.  But this is the only legitimate and realistic way to end the outside influenced insurgency and restore peace and tranquility to Syria.  And let me end by emphasis on the central and key role of Russia, China and Turkey.  As for England and France, they are former Imperialist Colonial powers and their hands are already bloody because of their brutal pursuit of Western Imperialism in Libya.  And the USA?  We should be foremost in favor of  national sovereignty as reflected by our own revolution against colonial Imperial England in 1776.  And we should be for non-interference as reflected by our Federal position during our own Civil War, (or War of Northern Aggression) in 1865.  The fact that we abandoned these policies in 1875 versus Mexico and in 1898 versus Spain and in 1917 versus the Axis is merely evidence of our own growth as an international imperial power.  WW II is an entirely different story.  And Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan are exceptionalism adventures, to say the least.

Yes, Kofi Annan can restore peace, to a war ravaged Syria.  However, this writer believes that the adventurism of the USA government is already undermining his efforts.  And I believe that the robust colonial imperialism displayed by France under Sarkozy and England under Cameron, is not likely to dissipate. Therefore, the goodly people of Syria, like the countries of Egypt, and Libya will be the unwitting dupes of the internationalist aspirations of USA Obama, Frances’s Sarkozy and England’s Cameron.  A very sad commentary indeed.

USA Intervention prolongs Tyrany and Prevents Democracy

It is this authors opinion that the progress of democracy is inevitable.  I also believe that it is the best form of government for all people’s worldwide.  Additionally, I wholeheartedly support efforts to educate, advocate and promote peaceful democracy worldwide.  However, war is a terrible thing and as we learned in our own Revolution and Civil War a great many people die prematurely for something which is so inevitable that we do not need bloodshed for its achievement.  And for those conservative pundits who argue with me on this, well!  Have you been in the US military?  Is your child in the US military?  Have you been confronted with the agony of mobilization and deployment?  Yes, I have and so have my children.  So, before we go wrapping everything in the flag, let’s talk. Okay.

Democracy has many forms, including limited democracy such as a real monarchy, and on to parliamentary democracy and a Republic like the USA.  However,  there is not one form that fits all societies.  A tribal system such as Libya and Iraq may not be historically, culturally or ethnically suited for USA style democracy.  Rather, ethnic, cultural, religious and societal uniqueness may require that democracy be tailored to the local situation.

And I completely agree that many societies in the Middle East of our world are seeking a greater form of democratic society.  However, in distinction from my colleagues, I suggest that democracy was and is inevitable in these societies and that the modern interconnected Internet world, would and will, sooner than later, achieve that democracy, worldwide.  However, in many countries and societal situations the so-called “powerful” need to learn the new methods of power and government.  It is my belief that they would have, and they will learn the modern way without violence, bloodshed and death.  It is inevitable.

But, many object, that in the societies of the Middle East, it is taking too long.  First, I ask you, if you are a citizen of the country you criticise?  If not, shut up.  It is none of your business and don’t spout the crap about “you are your brothers keeper”.  When you leave your USA armchair and travel to the streets of the struggle and face the bullets, then maybe, and only maybe, then you will have a little right to speak.  Hey, brother, please don’t tell me what I must die for.  You die in my place, okay? And then, I will religiously lay a wreath at your grave. Deal?

It is this author’s opinion that much of the violence and the death happening worldwide and especially in the Mid East is caused by geopolitical aims and seeks to falsely use democracy as the excuse for the extension of a western economic imperial model that has nothing to do with the “quality of life” of the protagonists and a lot to do with the wealth and continued economic imperialism of western governments and corporations.

Rather, let’s not arm the rebels.  Let’s educate them on civil organization and political reality.  But, you say, that we tried that and it failed.  Did it?  In my opinion, it did not fail. It simply did not meet our expectations.  We will need to extend our timelines and get real about what is possible now and what can only be achieved later.

Friends, I will not dictate that for which you must die.  Rather, I will do everything I can to promote your freedom within the context, society and culture in which you live.  In the end, the result will be the same because freedom and I believe, democracy, are inevitable.

Graham and Mc Cain War Oriented

http://www.thedailybeast.com/cheats/2012/02/20/senators-want-to-arm-syrian-rebels.html?utm_medium=email&utm_source=newsletter&utm_campaign=cheatsheet_morning&cid=newsletter%3Bemail%3Bcheatsheet_morning&utm_term=Cheat%20Sheet

It continues to disturb this writer that Senator Mc Cain is a very hostile person who wants war, armaments and interventionist policies to prevail.  We intervened in Egypt with our President Obama saying that our long time friend Mubarak “Must go”.  The result is chaos in Egypt and a military government trying to prevail against radical terrorist Muslims, and Islamic radical mobs burning Christian Churches, terrorising Christian business people and threatening to make Christianity illegal in Egypt.  Then we supported the rag-tag rebellion against the sovereign government of Libya, which government was a UN member, forsworn against terrorism and nuclear armament in return for USA consideration.  But our government changed from George W. Bush and Condie Rice to Barrack Hussein Obama and Hilary Rodman Clinton, both of whom reneged on USA promises, backed the UN resolution 1973 against Gaddafi, and supported the 2300 bombing raids, the 225 cruise missile attacks, and the use of the terrifying A 10 anti personnel aircraft against the legal, uniformed and legitimate military forces of the sovereign UN recognized Libyan government.  The result is chaos, a weak central government and the fear that the approximately 10 to 20 thousand shoulder launched missiles of the Gaddafi government are now being funneled to A Qaeda.  Hey, folks, the so-called terrorist Gaddafi and his military forces did not use those anti-aircraft, anti tank, anti naval missiles!  Why not?  Because they believed assurances that the UN resolution 1973 protected them against the murderous rebels. Instead, Gaddafi was brutalized and obscenely murdered, his son killed, and his supporters rounded up and quietly exterminated by the new “freedom loving??” Libyan government.  The Syrian Government is also an independent sovereign State, member of United Nations and engaged in a brutal civil war.  And yes, the legally constituted government and the legitimate uniformed military forces and police of that government have been brutal in suppression of the civil war.  However, in the USA, it is illegal for anybody to advocate the violent overthrow of the USA Federal or State government. In fact, if such an armed conflict broke out in the USA, the penalty is death by firing squad or hanging.  Such death by bullet or rope, could under a military emergency and martial law, be administered by the USA military forces in summary field executions. So, friends, before we fool-heartedly get involved in yet another illegal military adventure, let’s be honest with ourselves and tell the world, especially the Russians, that we intend to continue to foment revolution in their backyard and they had better get used to the idea.  And then, when the Russians visit Mexico and try to overthrow that government, we too, had better get used to the idea.  And by the way, why shouldn’t the Iranians stop selling oil to France and UK.  It’s their oil from their land and if they don’t want to sell it to their enemies, France and UK, well, that’s their business.  We don’t sell to the Iranians because we say that they are our enemies.  So who is the hypocrite here?

Sarkozy a Phony, Libya a Crime and the World Liars

http://news.yahoo.com/sarkozy-advises-against-military-strike-iran-215253967.html  This writer is made sick by this article.  Now Sarkozy says that the solution to problems is Diplomacy, etc. ( see article).  Before with Libya, he was all missiles, bombs, strafing, war and destruction of an entire sovereign nation called Libya.  I have written extensively on this blog about the illegal criminal war against Libya and the Leader of the Revolution Gaddafi.  Here I simply call attention to the travesty of international political phoniness by Sarkozy, Cameron, and Obama abetted by a superfluous but dangerous UN and its crony Security Council.  The base line is this:  The UN resolution 1973 was dead wrong and allowed to be gravely misused by Sarkozy, Obama and Cameron as they dropped at least 2000 bombs on the army, navy and air force of a UN member country called Libya.  The North Atlantic Treaty Organization is not an arm of the UN.  It is a war making organization parading as a defense organization. It is a throwback to the Cold War and should be disbanded for its criminal activities in Libya. Why? Because the legal government under Gaddafi was internationally recognized as the legal government and even the new puppet regime in Tripoli agrees that all contracts signed by the Gaddafi government are legal and binding!!

The Libyan government under Gaddafi was criminally attacked by NATO forces under the excuse of protecting civilians.  How were the civilians being attacked.  They were not. This is plain fact.  However, rebellious para military forces backed by France (Sarkozy) Britain (Cameron) USA ( Obama) and aided by Belgium (?), fought against the legal government seeking its overthrown.  These para military forces were without regular military organization. They were not recognizable by a regular military uniform. Their tactics of attacking the legal government forces, facilities and jurisdictions are recognized by other governments as the actions of terrorists!!  [If this was the case today in USA, the law allows the Obama administration to utterly crush the military rebellion and then to hang all its leaders as traitors. (Yes, it is illegal to attempt the forced overthrow of the USA government and the penalty for such action is death.)] Yes, the US Obama administration backed the UN resolution 1973 authorizing military force against a UN member nation. The President later did not commit USA military ground troops to the overthrow of the legal sovereign government of Libya opting instead, to providing cruise missiles, Air Force plans, Navy ships, and A-10 attack planes in order to carry out the blatantly criminal aggression against the country of Libya.  In a just world, (yes, this is not a just world), the criminal aggressor nations would be indicted by the UN (really!) as aggressors.  They would also be indicted by the International Court at the Hague for aggression against a sovereign nation of the international community of nations and against a legal member of the United Nations and a nation recognized as legal by 101 nations.  In a just world, this writer believes that all three leaders, Sarkozy, Cameron and (Nobel Peace Prize winner) Obama would be found guilty of criminal aggression and could even face charges of genocide against the Libyan people.  Hey, facts are facts and the 200 plus cruise missiles, the 2000 plus air force sorties against the legal army of Libya were all carried out without a legal Declaration of War which according to international law and the USA Manual of Land Warfare and the USA Military Code of Justice constitutes lawless and wanton criminal behavior.   By the way, Gaddafi did not have Weapons of Mass destruction.  He did not have and was not developing any form of nuclear weapon. He was not a military or terrorist threat to the nations of the International community.  Yes, he was at one time. But that had been adjudicated by international agreement, an agreement which shamefully, was completely disregarded by the Obama administration and as far as this writer knows, was not defended by former Sec. State Condi Rice nor former President George Bush!!)  The legal Gaddafi government was not killing hundreds of its people daily.  It was not bombing its own cities.  Its jails were not overflowing with prisoners ( look at the US jails. We cannot build them fast enough!!) Yet, the UN and the NATO aggressors were allowed to brutally attack and destroy the legal government of Libya and allowed to murder the head of the Revolution, Gaddafi.  This amounts not only to brutal wanton aggression but to illegal Regicide which is an odious form of assassination.  All of the foregoing is very disheartening to this writer.  Why? Because the Game of Nations seem to be above the law and therefore, the drones that are aimed against our supposed enemies by the USA, can be reproduced and aimed against us.  But you say that our assassination drones only murder those who are guilty.  Well, that is our definition of things.  But when they send their drones against us, we will be defined by them as those who deserve to die without benefit of accuser, indictment, defense and trial.  But you say “they” did that to “us” on 9/11.  Yes, they did, the bastards!  But does that mean that we too become terrorist bastards?  I hope not,  but the evidence of this administration and of France and Britain point to the adage that “Might makes right.”  If that is the case, than we can all despair because justice does not exist and the law of the jungle reigns supreme.   PS. The Menvedev regime of Russia and the Communist regime of China could have vetoed UN resultion 1973.  They did not and one thinks they felt betrayed because they objected during the brutal NATO criminal aggression but did not act.  Now, it is hopeful that the Russian Confederation under Putin and the Communist Chinese government will continue to successfully veto Western aggression and NATO brutality and Genocide.
