Trump is a Leader and Not a Politician

Much is made about Trump not being politically expert. Those who oppose him, like the fifty former Republican operatives of previous administrations, claim that he is not like them. Therefore, he is not qualified to be President. This is funny because they think that being like them is a asset. It amazes this writer that they do not understand that it is precisely because Donald J. Trump is not like them that millions of Americans have joined the New American Revolution and made Trump their voice. The failed programs and political and economic policies of the past are being rejected by America. We want a business man to be our national Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Commander in Chief, (President). In Donald Trump we have even more, we have a very successful businessman, an experienced CEO and a very qualified CFO.

And as far as Commander In Chief, we have someone who understands the enormous military power of the USA.Donald Trump appreciates the great value of the life of every Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine and Coast Guard member. He will never waste their lives on foreign soil for mere political reasons. He will never sacrifice, needlessly, the lives of our CIA, FBI, or Ambassadors, like Obama and Hilary did in Benghazi. Donald Trump regards our military with profound respect.

This writer has a dear friend in the Security Services of the USA and he tells me that unlike Hilary, who regards security personnel with disdain, Donald Trump treats his federal protectors with very deep respect and appreciation. He thanks them regularly, he is interested in their lives, their life stories and their families. He is cooperative and always tells them that he does not want to act in any way to compromise them or their safety. They say of him that he has all the qualities and personal attitudes of a leader and not merely a politician. Donald Trump is not a politician. He is the leader America needs and the Leader America wants.

The Trump Revolution is Real

Just look at the attendance and the enthusiasm at the Trump Rallies.  Packed arenas.  Lots of young people.  Attendees who will vote in November.  The Trump Revolution is real.

Yes, it does baffle some on the left.  They cannot understand that people who work for a living could possibly like the Billionaire, Donald Trump.  But it is exactly because they do work for a living that the people of the revolution understand and want Trump.  They know the importance of a job. They understand that they have entrepreneur leaders, Masters of Business Administration project managers, and work site supervisors who worked their way up from the bottom. They understand that these are the people Donald Trump hires and these are the people that hire them.   They understand that the big buildings of steel and glass were built by the employees of Donald Trump and that these workers were paid by the Trump organization.  The appreciate the need for hard core, solidly based, forward thinking, revolutionary business people in order to create new and better jobs and more and higher paying positions for those who achieve.  These are people not baffled by Donald Trump, they like him.

At the start of this American Political Revolution, the pundits, the career television commentators and the newly minted college graduate news reporters talked a lot about voter’s outrage and about blue collar anger and white middle class Bible believers and gun owners who should be dismissed as not worthy to be considered.  After Trump’s initial successes there was a lot of TV chatter that this was merely the middle class suburban people expressing their frustration with modern life.  It was inferred that they were backward looking nostalgic people trying to cling to their religion, guns and childhood memories.  In all of this the attitude of those giving us their views on TV and news was that whites, middle class suburbanites, and blue collar workers should be ashamed of themselves.  The reporters used condescending language and expressive body language to show their disdain for those who are the heart and soul of America.   And this heart and soul of American resonates to the message that Donald Trump gives.  They have made him their voice.

Yes, this new American revolution is political, for now!  But there is a growing anxiety among its people that the powerful, and the careerist politicians, and the news media will join forces to quell the rebellion and crush the revolution.  Many would say that this assessment is correct and that once the new American political revolution is put down then all can rest easy.  But this may be a very big mistake.  The people started the Taxed Enough Already (TEA) movement and this was stolen from them by establishment politicians and made into an institution.  The TEA patriots didn’t resist.  They thought it was good.  They elected people who spoke the TEA words in the hope that they were sincere.  They have been disappointed and have leeched away from TEA.  Donald Trump is seen as an answer to their disappointment.

Many flocked to Republican libertarian Senator Rand Paul.  He was a viable and is still a credible source of hope for Americans.  But Senator Rand Paul was under funded and could not sustain the race for President.  Thankfully, he is a candidate for Senator from Kentucky.  Others ran to Senator Marco Rubio, a new voice, a young face and a solid message of hope.  But Senator Rubio was also underfunded and could not sustain the primaries.  Thankfully, Donald Trump encouraged him not to give up on a race for Senate and Marco Rubio is back on the election scene, a viable choose for Florida.   Many young, idealistic and enthusiastic people turned to Senator Bernie Sanders.  But Senator Sanders was undermined by the Hilary Clinton controlled Democratic National Committee.  He was stabbed in the back by Debbie Wassermann Schultz a DNC operative.  But more sad is Bernie Sander’s sell out of his ideas and ideals to Hilary Clinton- a sell out that brought tears of genuine hurt to his followers and calls of outrage for his duplicity.

At the end of the day there was only one man standing to carry the burden for his Republican party and be the voice for the disenfranchised and oppressed middle class.  Mr. Donald Trump stood up, stood tall, and stood fast in the face of unrelenting attack.  And the patriots of the New American Revolution know it and they will speak up and spread the revolution.

Paul Ryan is Needed as Speaker

Paul Ryan is a senior Congressman who is Republican and Speaker of the House of Representatives. This is very important for the success of the Trump revolution. Speaker Ryan is experienced in creating legislation, in putting forward cohesive budgets, and in helping the people of his Janesville, Wisconsin, district play a very big role in guiding the nation. He is being threatened by outsiders like former Governor Sarah Palin and a host of other enemies who want to use the primary process to deny him a spot on the Republican ballot in November. The loss of Speaker Ryan to the nation, the Congress and the people of Janesville district would be a very big mistake.

If Mr. Ryan is denied the Republican spot in the primary, his challenger will have unseated a Speaker of the House of Representatives without even having to win the general election. That means that Nehlen and his small group of discontented people will have, with a mere fraction of eligible voters, denied the talents of Congressman Ryan to all of us. A vote against Ryan is a vote against the New American Political Revolution and its Voice, Mr. Donald J. Trump. A vote against Ryan is also a suicide vote by the people of Janesville because it will be a wholesale give away of their power to help guide the nation during either a Trump or Hilary Presidency.

Remember, that if Congressman Paul Ryan is defeated in the primary by this obscure newcomer, then all is lost. Mr. Nehlen will not be the Speaker. He will merely be a new freshman congressman without seniority, chairmanships, committee position or the clout that goes with being a senior among your peers. The cost for the ideological defeat of Paul Ryan is far too great. Please remember, also, that his challenger must go on to win the election which is not a sure thing, so the net result could be a loss of the Speakership, the loss of senior committee chairmanships, and the loss of the seat itself to a Democrat. And for all of the people of Janesville district, Republican and Democrat, the loss of Paul Ryan would relegate them to obscurity as just another small town in the vast Wisconsin landscape.

Much is being made of Mr. Ryan and Mr Trump not agreeing. Good! Disagreement is good! We definitely do not want the Obama/Clinton robots who don’t even dare to disagree with them. We want a strong Speaker Ryan standing tall alongside a strong President Trump confident in their strengths and equally confident that they can agree to disagree without fear of reprisal. Such a relationship of strength is good for our Republic and good for the future of our freedom. In fact, such strength and respect is a key ingredient of the New American Political Revolution being spearheaded by Republican Donald Trump.

Paul Ryan gets things done. During his many years in Congress he has gained the respect of everyone who meets him. They do not all agree, but to have the respect of those with whom you openly disagree is a testament to Paul’s integrity , and the honesty of his commitment to serve as a doer and not just a talker. Paul Ryan knows what he is doing. He is a Congressman of principle. The key principle is Paul’s dedication to the Constitution and its provision for the separation of powers between the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of government. He is also a proponent of limiting the power of the Federal government because the Constitution provides for fifty state governments which are sovereign in their locality. Because Paul Ryan has a comprehensive and inclusive philosophy of government, many who claim pure Conservative or pure liberal credentials see him as unworthy of their support. Frankly, many of these people actually hate him and call him names like RINO and traitor and Judas and the like. Sad for them and sad that they hate. (RINO means Republican In Name Only.) But America does not need a Speaker who is so purely ideological that he cannot work with others, cannot respect differences of opinion and cannot make a deal and get the job done.

If anyone should know about the art of the deal, it is candidate Donald J. Trump. He based his successful business career upon it. It is the title of one of his books. He does it better than anyone else. That is why the endorsement of Mr. Ryan by Mike Pence is a very big deal. It says that the non endorsement of Mr. Trump should not be considered a signal to defeat Speaker Ryan. Rather, the wholehearted endorsement of Mr. Ryan by Mike Pence is a signal to all who care about the New American Revolution that they should vote for Ryan and not against him. Remember Pence will be chairman of the Senate and will be working very closely with Speaker Ryan for the implementation of the programs that will make America great again.

Donald Trump and the Revolution

Donald Trump is an American product.  He is the leader of a revolution but he is not the maker of that revolution.  He is the Presidential candidate for the Republican party, a position that many people say he does not deserve.  Donald Trump is the voice and the hope of many American citizens who feel shut out of their own country.

During the election primaries many said that Donald Trump could not succeed.  The Republican party had seventeen candidates for President.  In Trump’s own estimation, they were the brightest and best of the politicians in the USA.  His task would be to defeat each one in the public arena and to motivate everyday American voters to get up, get out and to vote for him.  He succeeded.

It was no small task for Donald Trump to best his adversaries.  He is not a politician but he is a successful businessman who was associated with wealth and glitz, hotels and gambling, penthouses and golf courses.  His opponents  were Governors, Senators and Congressmen.  But Donald Trump the billionaire is also a man who liked everyday people.  He is a man who appreciates the hard work and dedication of hundreds of thousands of his employees who are partners with him in the success of the Trump enterprise. People said that he would never be able to communicate his genuine affection and profound respect for working people.  He succeeded.

Going into the Republican National Convention many doubted that he could produce a meaningful political gathering worthy of a Presidential candidate.  Weeks of newspaper, TV and radio reporting said that the convention would be a meaningless show of glitz and entertainment.  They predicted a big battle of different ideas that would tear the fabric of Republican unity and leave the party shredded and in tatters.  That did not happen.  The convention was meaningful, and it was entertaining.  It was calm and it was eventful.  It was a good old fashioned American political convention.  Once again Donald Trump succeeded.

It was the Democrat convention that was in turmoil.  It was mired in the scandal of Emails from the Democrat National Committee that revealed a plot to derail Bernie Sanders in every underhanded way possible.  It was further damaged by the raucous and unruly attendees who shouted down speakers and carried such a threat to the DNC that they erected fences around the outside and around the inside of the arena in order to keep the people away from mauling the presenters.

Convicted of her complicity with the Emails, the chairwoman of the DNC resigned in disgrace only to be immediately rewarded by the Clinton campaign with a new paid position on Hilary’s team. This scene was played again the following week when other high ranking officials of the DNC were forced to resign in disgrace for their part in underhanded dirty politics against Bernie Sanders.  All of this turmoil indicated a Democrat party controlled by one family, the Clinton family.  It revealed a powerful dynastic elite that would allow no true opposition to former President Clinton’s wife.   It proved that beyond a doubt, the Democrat party members would vote for Hilary because  she was a woman and because they said she deserved to be President.

This sense of entitlement and privilege is the true story of the Democrat party and of the Democrat nominee.  Just being a woman was touted before the nation as unique and worthy of our admiration- not mention that such an attitude for the rest of us is called sexism, male chauvinism, and workplace harassment.  And the sense of privilege and wealth was repeated display by Mrs. Clinton twelve thousand dollar pants suits.   Clothing that she is able to get because of $250,000 fees for a one hour stage appearance at the haunts of the bankers, industrialists, special interests, lobbyists, and Saudi Arabian desert sheiks- sheiks who behead homosexuals and force woman into household slavery.

Ultimately, Trump who has been elevated by this new American political revolution will face the crucible of the election.  It will be an election like no other because it will determine whether the old guard of entrenched political careerists like Hilary Clinton will be allowed to cement another eight years of crooked cronyism and privileged power brokers into the institutions of our nation.  It will determine whether we will suffer from the packing of the Supreme court with Clinton’s arrogant liberals who will infect the fabric of our nation with the poison of atheist socialism.  Lastly, it will determine whether America, as we all have known it,  will be allowed to flourish again.  Donald J. Trump has been declared by the patriots of this new American political revolution to be their voice and their champion.  He is one man.  But he is a man with a vision of a great nation once again standing tall in a world of craven terrorists and arrogant opportunists.

Will he succeed?  Yes, he will succeed. But it will only be possible if  the warriors of this revolution do not lose heart but keep constant focus  and commitment to the principles on which we stand.  America needs a change, a change from the old ways of politicians to the new ways of a free and proud people.

Rand Paul and Donald Trump? Enemies or Friends who Need to Get Together? 10/16 by JCHenry | Current Events Podcasts

In the political run up to the Republican nomination for President of the USA, the nation is witnessing the awesome display of talented and able people who identify themselves as Republican. Is this significant

2nd GOP Debate, Donald Trump and Rand Raul

Well, I think we can all agree that it was not a debate. I think that we can also agree that the CNN people wanted to focus on Donald Trump and Carly Fiorino. Interesting, that Mr. Trump was quoted as saying that he thought it unfair to the other candidates to give him so much attention at their expense. Bravo, Donald. And I guess it is fair game that Mr. Trump attacked Senator Paul because Senator Paul broadcast in his blog that he intended to blast Mr. Trump. However, the candidates and the media need to focus on substance and not entertainment.
In this area I believe that Senator Rand Paul is the clear winner. He has a cohesive and comprehensive plan for the USA. He is a man who has already defined the issues. This can be seen by the many candidates who are copying Senator Paul’s statements about marijuana convictions, about Syria and the need to stop arming rebels against the legitimate government of Syria, and about the Federal Reserve and lack of transparency. Senator Paul is popular among his fellow Senators because he has clear ideas and does not attack and besmirch the intentions of his fellow senators. Rand Paul is quiet and not flashy which is something media commentators dislike. They want flash and fire because it is good television. Senator Paul prefers quiet, rational, and reasonable conversation in order to bring about change and not merely to sell himself as an entertaining personality.
Senator Paul and many of the candidate put out their own information through the Internet. This is really great. I subscribe to all of them. Yes, that means they also email me for money. That’s okay. It is what they are supposed to do. How else are they going to get the millions of dollars it costs citizens who want to help their county? But it is a very good way to hear what each candidate wants to say without the filter of the media.

Do The Churches Honor the Martyrs

Do we remember the Christian martyrs who had their throats slit by the Muslin ISIS? This writer fears that we do not. Shame, Shame on us. This writer has spoken with many Christians who do not care that the Chaldean, Syriac, Syrian, Coptic, and Catholic Christians are being persecuted, tortured and killed by the Muslims of ISIS. People say, oh, well that is their problem! This writer is a ELCA Lutheran, and I read that my Denominational leaders are asking congregations to donate to the humanitarian crisis in the Middle East. I telephoned the leadership and asked; What does that mean? Does it mean my money will be used to house clothe feed Muslims? Yes, was the immediate answer. I asked if the Christians would be given preference. The answer was an accusation… namely, the person asked me if I was a racist? When I asked if Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Morocco, Chad, Somalia were housing Muslin refugees, the answer was an emphatic, "What difference does that make?"
Charity for the world’s needy is universal. The poor and rejected and those driven out of land, business and home are the objects of our generosity. There is no argument there. But why do the Muslim nations, leaders and religious officials get an excuse. Those who excuse the hardness of heart which is Islam, are very quick to condemn Christians for asking for money in order to help Mid East refugees!

Russia is not our Enemy.

In a previous Post I said this:

In the days before the UN resolution authorizing the no fly zone in Libya, the Russian Foreign minister stated that if the USA pursued the no fly zone concept as regards Libya, the Russians would veto it in the Security Council.  Instead, the Russians merely abstained.  However, soon after the NATO aggression against Libya began, Putin stated that the attacks against Libya were barbaric and reminiscent of the Crusades.  However, the President of Russia disagreed and Putin shut up.  It is noteworthy that Secretary Gates visited Russia before the UN resolution.  It is frightening to think that the world may need to depend upon Russia and a veto in the UN Security Council for protection of the rights of sovereign States.  After all, it was the Russians who after WW II were the criminal aggressors against Poland, Czech, etc.  All during those terrible Cold War years the USA constantly invoked the concept of the Sovereign Nation State in order to counter the criminal occupation of the Eastern Block nations.  However, now the USA under Obama’s New World Order ideas, is the aggressor and maybe occupier of another sovereign nation!  Russia has murmured on the side lines since Putin was forced to shut up.  However, the future of the free world may depend upon a former communist dictatorship and not in the USA.  It seems like the Pres. and the Admin.  are willing to bomb and destroy the armed forces of another country all the while declaring that the bombs and cruise missiles and other brutal military weapons are the agents of peace and harmony protecting the so called civilians from bad bad Gaddalfi.

Today (Oct, 2015) we witness another in the strange interpretation of the world put forward by the Obama administration.  In the past few weeks, the Russians have send military supplies, weapons and ammunition to the Assad government of Syria. Please note, that this is a legal government to legal government transfer of assets.  While people may not like either Assad or Putin, they are the legal leaders of their sovereign nations. Both nations are recognized by at least 105 nations as  legal governments. Both are full member nations of the United Nations.  However, the Obama government states that supplying the Assad government with the ability to defend itself against terrorist ISIS and US backed insurrectionists is illegal.

However, the USA finds nothing wrong with arming, supplying, training and providing millions of dollars to hundreds of insurrectionists.   Please note, that if a person is armed and proposes to lead an insurrection against the Obama government in the USA, that person will be arrested and if found guilty, is liable to execution.  If that same person is employed by a foreign government to overthrow the Obama administration, he is called a State terrorist.  If he is a free lance US citizen attempting to overthrow the US government, he is a traitor.  But, according to the Obama government, none of this applies to those we use to overthrow the Assad government.

Today this author read the responses of Marco Rubio and Caryl Fiorino to the Russian airforce warning to USA air planes over Syria to not interfere with them.  The USA planes have been bombing Syria for months.  The claim is that our bombing is okay because we are only bombing ISIS and have the permission of the Assad government.  (Strange that we use the approval of the Assad government to defend ourselves against charges of criminal aggression!) Anyway,  Rubio, and Fiorino think that we should tell the Russians that there are serious repercussions including our shooting at their planes because they warned us to stay away as they bomb ISIS.  I hope they and Ted Cruz are not suggesting that we fire against Russian military jets operating over Syrian airspace with the Assad government’s permission.  Such an action would clearly be an act of war and indicates that we are willing to fight the Russians as they attempt to destroy ISIS.

Have we forgotten that by jet we are fourteen hours away from Syria?  Have we forgotten that Russia has a treaty of mutual assistance with Syria?  Have we forgotten that Russia is a hugely powerful nuclear weapon-ed nation?

This writer exposed the danger of the so called Arab Spring proposed by Obama.  Since then we have suffered through our acts of criminal aggression against Libya.  We have witnessed our subversive covert operations in Egypt toppling our ally Mubarak and installing a Muslim Brotherhood terrorist leader in his place.  We agonized over the attack on our embassy in Benghazi and the murder of ambassador Stevens.  During all this time the Obama government has persisted in its supply, funding, and training of insurrectionists in Syria.  ISIS has risen although the Obama government insists on the name ISIL which is a tacit approval of their legitimacy as a government.  This ISIS is now being rumored to be an undercover agency of the French, British, and American governments as they attempt to reassert European colonial imperialism in the Middle East.

By the way, did you read that USA is supplying weapons, training anti aircraft and anti missile defense systems to Ukraine?  Whatever you think of problems between Ukraine and Russia, please consider that our actions there are the same as Khrushchev supplying missiles to Castro.  It is the same as IF the Russians supplied the same weapons to Mexico and aimed them at us.

The only person who is talking reasonably is Senator Rand Paul. He wants the USA to stop interfering in the internal affairs of independent sovereign nations.  He wants us to allow people within a region to determine their own affairs.  He wants us to stop beating the drums of war every time we are opposed by anyone.  He wants us to use the power of diplomacy and meaningful cooperation and collaboration to solve the problems that occur.  He does not want the US government to fall victim to a man versus man contest between Obama’s pride and Putin’s pride.  When he says this he is talking from a position of strength because he will not equivocate and cave in at every opportunity.  Rather, he will stand fast and use what we must, but only if it is absolutely a “must” situation.

Rand Paul’s Speech to Senators was Courageous

Senator Rand Paul stood up in the Senate and addressed his fellow Senators to not allow the continuation of irresponsible spending. He pointedly used charts to show graphically how the Continuing Resolution by the Senate will allow spending to foolishly increase. His speech was informed, bold, accurate, and courageous. It was a well researched speech that used facts and figures to state his case for the American people. He used graphs and charts as visual aids so that people could see as well as hear the facts. Unlike others, Senator Paul was not simplistic, or shrill in his speech. He did not embarrass the American people or the Senators by using accusations sullying the character of his fellow Senators. He boldly spoke to them in person. He boldly asked them to change their minds and vote down the Continuing Resolution. He was accurate in his statements that the American people expect their Senators to made the tough and right decisions to stop runaway federal spending. And he was courageous because he stood up personally on the floor of the Senate chamber in the US Capitol and went on the record explaining why he was voting against the Continuing Resolution.

Mr. Donald Trump, also a candidate running for the Republican nomination, has stated that Senator Paul and others should drop out of the race for the nomination. This writer thinks of it as Mr. Trump’s issuing a “you’re Fired” to Senator Paul. One thing, all of the candidates are running for the Republican nomination. We are not even to the election year contest. There is no reason for Senator Paul or anyone else to drop out until the Republican party has chosen its nominee. This will be done through the votes of registered Republicans at the State level and through the groups called Caucuses. It should not be done by news polls, media polls, conservation talk show hosts, or the TV network debate system. It is not their prerogative to arbitrarily decide for the voters who they will be allowed to nominate. Members of each party reserve that prerogative for themselves.

Senator Rand Paul is a reasoned political personality who has been elected and has served with honor and distinction in the US Senate. His campaign staff is professional and he has raised enough money to pay for that staff and their expertise. Unlike Mr. Trump, Senator Paul is not a billionaire. He has money, indeed, from his practice of Physician. And his fiscal responsibility is a legend. He has returned sizable amounts of money to the federal government from his Senate operations budget. This he has done each year and this year it amounted to a refund TO the federal government of over one million dollars. In every way Senator Rand Paul is distinguished by his disciplined, reasoned, informed, bold and courageous programs to help America get better.

Speaker John Boehner Resigned, He was not Ousted.

In a transcript from the Rush Limbaugh radio show dated Sept 28th, 2016, Mr. Limbaugh says that John Boehner was ousted from the third most powerful position in the United States.  As Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Boehner, according to the US Constitution, was third in line of succession to the Presidency.

The cause for the Speaker to resign was not stated by the Mr. Boehner.  But the headline to Rush Limbaugh’s transcript is that the third most powerful man in America was ousted by forces lead by Senator Ted Cruz.  According to this theory, Senator Ted Cruz was an instigator and advocate for conservative Republican congressmen to consistently and persistently oppose Speaker Boehner’s leadership.  He did this, according to Limbaugh, because Senator Cruz had no support for his conservative views among fellow senators.  Therefore, he decided to go to the other house, Mr. Boehner’s house, and spoil it.

The quote from the transcript is the following:

“The point is, Ted Cruz was aware of all this, and he decided there was no way since he was so vastly outnumbered in the Senate, that what he instead did was to work with the conservative members in the House to strengthen them, to focus them. Not that they needed it, but just to form some unity and have a coordinated effort that was aimed at Boehner’s resignation, since Cruz was not gonna be able to engineer a similar thing in the Senate because he was basically a party of one.”

The transcript relates how Mr. Limbaugh rationalizes all of this as being a good thing.  He has his opinion.  Why not, he gets paid millions of dollars to tell us what he thinks.  But if he is correct in his opinion of this event, I do not see it as credit to Senator Cruz but a shame.  I guess you could credit Cruz with being savvy in understanding, as Limbaugh says, that in the Senate he is a party of one among 100 elected Senators.  I guess you could praise him for being smart enough to know that he could gather the discontented, unhappy, miserable conservative congressmen  who did not like Speaker Boehner and form them into a focused, united group of mostly freshmen congressmen who in their disgruntlement could work in a coordinated effort to oust the Speaker.  I guess you can compliment him for subverting the  office of Speaker of the House of Representative instead of fighting and winning better credibility in his own house, the Senate.  But if Mr. Limbaugh is correct and according to the transcript,  ” So there’s any number of people who you might…if you want to consider this in a doling-out-of-credit sense, Cruz is right there at the top.”

All of us wonder about the resignation of Speaker Boehner.  He also will not stand for election to his congressional seat.  He is retiring.  It seems to me that there was a day not long ago when powerful forces were in motion to do something or other. The accomplishment of it, back then, may have involved the resignation or the retirement of some powerful person. However, I seem to remember, that there was a sense of grace and largeness on the part of the winners over the vanquished.  It may have been called, back then, a sense of class or classiness.  The winners were the first ones to come out and congratulate the defeated with words of praise for their service, and with a reminder of their many accomplishments and the excellence of their career and the honorable and praiseworthy things for which they stood.  But according to Mr. Limbaugh, this sense of class and honorable victory is not true of the Value Voter’s Summit in Washington (DC) where, as Limbaugh states, (Senator Rubio is speaking) and says:  …Just a few minutes ago Speaker Boehner announced that he will be resigning..AUDIENCE (wild Applause)  Rush:  Now, that (applause) went on and on and on.  It was over the top.  And this was something that a number of people have been attempting to make happen for months now going into years.

This writer is aware of the advertisements on Facebook and Internet to get rid of Speaker Boehner.  I have always wondered who these disgruntled and discontented people were.  I even imagined that the advertisements were planted by Democrats to defeat the Republicans.  Now, I know that it is something (as Limbaugh states) ” a number of people have been attempting to do for years.”  Really!?  Is there a secret group of political outsiders trying to subvert the political process?  Were there powerful people, like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Senator Cruz, trying to revolt and oust the Speaker of the House of Representatives.  I am not one of them.  In fact, I get very nervous around discontented, disgruntled, malcontents who are in positions of power and are fighting against their fellows who are in positions of power.

Are they so sure that they would do a better job?  Are they so sure that if their man gets the power he will not use that power against the revolutionaries who put him or her there?  Do they want the power for themselves?  Are they willing to blame the so called leadership for their own inability to cooperate and focus on passing meaningful solutions to the nation’s problems- preferring to blame, as Mr. Limbaugh does, ” The …insider class, or ruling class or whatever you call it elite mind-set.”  I wonder about people who are willing to subvert and collaborate in a focused, united, cooperative campaign against someone else, are they going to be better or worse than those they ousted?  After all, they got to the top by subverting the authority of those they replaced.  They can expect the same for themselves, unless they are the first to attack and remove the attackers.

Limbaugh goes on to state his agenda for the ouster of Majority Leader McConnell.  He uses a quote from somebody else to hide behind, Gerald Selb, of the Wall Street Journal, who claims that the so called Tea Party forces are increasing their power and loosening the Republican (so called) establishment’s  grip. So, after all, this transcript of the Rush Limbaugh show is actually a self proclaimed testimonial to Rush Limbuagh’s success at fostering the take over of the Republican party by his brand of conservatives?
